Droves of nubile females turned up at the Avalon Thursday night to see Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars. They were gratified to observe that their idol has pared off the sixty pounds he gained to play Mark David Chapman in “Chapter 27.” The after-party was set for upstairs at the Spider club and his girl fans grew restless waiting for Leto to appear. (Apparently he was onstage judging some kind of contest involving fake blood.) Some gushed their love for Leto , others clutched 30 seconds to Mars panty briefs that they wanted Jared to autograph. Lindsay Lohan didn’t like being a face in THAT crowd so she marched down to Jared’s bus and – viola-neither made it back to the party. The panty girls were left bereft. Don’t expect a hot new Jared-Lindsay romance however� we hear Jared has a crush on Jessica Simpson.
