SEEN AROUND TOWN…..

Nick Nolte, browsing in Malibu shops on an 85 degree day, wearing pants , a hawaiian shirt, bedroom slippers and a brown hooded velour bathrobe, accessorized with a bright orange purse hanging on a string around his neck that contained his credit cards. Nolte carried on a conversation with himself – there was no cellphone visible. He purchased several expensive beach towels…… Jason Lee, looking as scruffy and unshaven as his character Earl, standing in line at Hollywood’s OSH to buy an electic drill…..Orlando Bloom, walking his dog in Runyon Canyon at dusk and yakking on the phone at the same time…. Marriage and a baby hasn’t doused the flames of passion for Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams. Last week they went out on a “date” and shared a cozy booth at Holly’s West. They chatted and laughed nonstop and only had eyes for each other – you’d think they’d just met….

   Maybe Nick was rehearsing for his narration work for the Hunter S Thompson bio. He needs to be a little looney for that. If it already aired… he has no excuse.

   Two false stories in a row I have read here. Hey Janet – Why don’t you hire somebody who reads PEOPLE magazine on a regular basis. They’d know more then your current staff.

   Okay, mebbe… but I’ve read that these 2 are married. And that’s from someone who follows this junk (me). So if they aren’t married, it’s not been publicised as such. Sorry but there’s just some crap that doesn’t make or break a story.

   They are not legally married although Michelle Williams has refered to Heath Ledger as her husband. Interestingly, I’ve never heard of him refering to her as his wife. Does anyone else think she is sort of creepy?

   michelle was raised with a religious education… but apparently, some of her film roles have upset folks on her ol’ hometurf. no, that’s not a scoop. but she has this kind of wild intensity. it will help her in the right role in the future, IMO.
