THE PARTY'S OVER

janevgo.jpg
We hear rumblings that the Scientologists made an offer to Michael Jackson to buy Neverland. Supposedly they wanted to turn it into a lavish celebrity retreat compound. (Hubbardland?) Our source said that Michael Jackson’s family , many of whom are still Jehovah’s Witnesses, were unhappy and didn’t want them to get it. According to this source, a consortium, led by a Beverly Hills businessman, outbid the Scientologists for the property. We’ve heard this “sold” rumor before and aren’t sure WHAT to think. But one thing we KNOW – there won’t be any Scientologists – or anybody else – squealing on the bumper cars or the ferris wheel at Neverland any more. The amusement park rides have been sold to a Japanese company.

Just bizarre. Neverland will go down as one of the Twentieth Century’s unexplainable oddities.
And Michael Jackson was one of the best things about the eighties…

I feel most sorry for the animals being held “hostage” there. I mean is anyone else saddened by the sight of the elephants in the last picture just kind of aimlessly wandering in what appears to be a very boring enclosure. Hopefully they will end up ok. And whatever happened to all the primates he carried around for awhile? Poor Bubbles. Michael jackson is a disgrace and an unconvicted child molester. Those poor kids – does anyone else think that he’s probably molesting them too!!! i can’t stand him…

I’m an animal lover but I don’t know enough about elephants. It seems they have a better life than out in the wilds. Maybe not.
That children at play sign should go up on eBay. That would be pretty good hanging over someone’s bar!

What won’t the Japanese buy? Jeez- If there was a America to Japanese only eBay, we could eliminate the national debt!

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
