Speaking of Chris Klein – it’s been a few months and he’s still with his Day Zero costar Ginnifer Goodwin. (She’s also on the TV series Big Love) They were spotted together several times in New York this summer (once she sported a major hickey on her neck) and now they’re back in LA – seen Friday at Dominick’s. Her eerie resemblence to Chris’s ex girlfriend Katie Holmes seems to get onlookers all worked up.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

Regarding Chris Klein and his new girlfriend who looks like his ex, Katie Holmes: It’s not usual for people to find new loves that resemble their old loves. They may casually consider all their loves to be their “types.” But all too often, these “types” turn out not to be so good for them after all. Whenever my clients boast about someone being their “type,” I ask, “So where has your ‘type’ gotten you all this time?” Needless to say, they think long and hard about that one!

Ginnifer Goodwin is very talented. She used to be on Ed, starring Tom Cavanaugh. She gave a wonderful performance as Johnny Cash’s first wife, Vivian, in the movie Walk the Line.
