Self Adoration
2002: Michael Jackson just checked out after a monthlong stay in the penthouse presidential suite of the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. Hotel staffers carried out one of his bulky possessions swathed in flowing fabric so no one could see what it was. The item happened to be a life size plaster bust of Michael! The tabletop bust features a likeness of Michael from the chest up in his military garb with epaulets and eye makeup. And it’s painted in full color. Michael kept the bust on a table in the marble entryway of his luxury suite so he’d feel right at home.
