Eddie Time

In 2003 Eddie Murphy was still up to his old tricks and setsiders have coined a phrase for it: “Eddie Time.” (as in “call time is 8 AM – Eddie Time is 12 noon) The heck with the schedule- Eddie shows up for work when he feels like it. While shooting Daddy Day Care, the cast and crew reported for work at the crack of dawn and were set to roll by 8AM. They have to hurry up and wait anywhere from ten minutes to eight hours for their star to appear. The same thing happened on the set of his upcoming film The Haunted MansionEddie and that’s why Eddie’s movies are often delayed. But no one complains, because Eddie’s nice when he DOES arrive, and everybody’s handsomely paid to wait.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
