No Scrooge

Not all the stories about Michael Richards are bad.
In 2001 the Seinfeld star was no holiday scrooge. He and a friend were driving home from Las Vegas when they stopped at a convenience store in Barstow, Calif. The despondent store clerk confessed to Michael’s pal that he was having the worst day of his life. He explained he’d bought a car for $300 and when he went to register it he learned it was stolen and he was arrested. It cost him $1000 – his kids Christmas money – to bail himself out. When Michael heard about the depressing story he quietly gave his friend a check for $1300 to give to the miserable clerk.

I think it is great that Michael gave the man his lost money to subside for the holidays. However, you do seem to have an ill reader with issues, that put the response: “…The kid must have been white.” -SAD READER.
I seriously doubt a caucasian would have made such a remark, most likely some illegal alien that gets paid under-the-counter, does not pay taxes, gets free medical, food, welfare, and whose child gets free education in our school system so they can learn from their parents how to have more children for more of our tax money paying their bills, and then learn a carrer that they have better chances of being hired because they are ‘a minority.’ Interestingly enough, for anyone that has been paying attention to the recent numbers, that ‘white child’ happens to be among us as the Minorities here in California. -FYIfacts!

I’m the one that posted the above remark, and surprise, I AM white and also live in California. I worked my entire life and made good money. So you obviously have your head up your own @ss

What do the above stats have to do with Michael Richards? How about those ill-mannered opportunists trying to extort money from the guy? He isn’t a racist, but then again, Sharpton and Jackson need jobs, so media have at it. The guy was clearly angry and who thinks P.C. in anger? I imagine people who can get that angry just want to injure.

I think his publicist sent you that story.
Michael Richards was over even before Seinfeld.
I never could stand the guy and it has nothing to do with him being a racist.
Those hecklers were right – he is not funny.

Give the guy a break! Michael Richards deserves to be forgiven–people forget all those shoes they ate—AL Sharpton, huge hyppocrite, won’t accept his apology? Fine–look at all the people you hurt with Tawana Brawley, and inciting a riot that lead to 7 people dying! People screw up! They say things in anger! –We have all been there–maybe not in that context, but everyone is guilty of saying things they don’t mean! He is sincere and apologetic, LET IT GO!

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
