SEEN AROUND TOWN

A familiar looking guy walked up to the clerk in Starbucks at Universal City and ordered coffee. The clerk asked “Do you get the employee discount?” James Franco laughed and said “No, I don’t work here!” …..Keira Knightley at Urban Outfitters on Melrose, trying on winter shorts…. Drew Barrymore at the Rose Bowl flea market hastily purchasing a $25 Victorian white nightgown. When she saw people noticing her, she disappeared into the crowd………Queen Latifah, her skin glowing, wearing grey and blue sweats in the Beverly Connection parking lot on her way to Old Navy…… Spikey haired Rex Lee, who plays Jeremy Pivens’ tormented assistant Lloyd on Entourage, waiting in line for a screening of The Good German at the Directors Guild theater…. Cameron Diaz devouring chicken pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) at Absolutely Phobulous on La Cienega…..

I agree with Marge. I don’t really care who was eating where. That’s just every day normal stuff, and not news or gossip.

James Franco sounds totally stuck up if he laughed when they asked him that. Where are his manners? I guess he’s such a huge star everyone should recognise him when he’s out? I guess if he’s “adorable” he gets to be a creep too.

I thought I saw pics of Keira Knightley in London. How old/new are these sightings?

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
