BURT REYNOLDS AND RYAN O'NEAL: HOLLYWOOD HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

This picture of Burt Reynolds and Ryan O’Neal looks like it was taken in the late 70’s at some sort of ball game – maybe Lakers basketball. They were the leather jacketed cool single guys of that era – sort of like players Wilmer Valderrama and maybe Justin Timberlake today. Hard to imagine, huh? After the game they probably went to Pip’s to pick up girls.

   both of these men are incredibly trashy.
   when their looks faded, their career dried up and they seemd to have lost their mind.
   I read Tataum O’Neal’s memoir, dad was screwed up all his life. O’Neal is nasty, mean and miserable who made everyone around his person miserable.
   Paul Newman on the other hand is like, 90 years old,every bit as old as these two but he is still in demand as an actor, a sex symbol for all ages and respected for his charitable works.
   let that serve as lesson to all, LOOKS are important but LOOKS aren’t everything. Your LOOKS can replace character, your LOOKS can subsitute for your intelligence.

   yep…this is a good one, janet because it also shows how everything goes in cycles…the guys that are so young and hot now will fade into oblivion and be replaced in the hollywood grinder with some new fresh meat. i used to think that burt reynolds was sexy…and so did a lot of other people haha

    You know why Paul Newman was so successful ? Because he was also a photographer and he was able to focus on what kind of people he had around him. Meaning he was a pretty good judge of character.
    Something that is missing in Hollywood these days. Which is why so many people are so screwed up.. They lack moral guidance.
    Note what Lindsey Lohan is doing – taking pictures of the people around her… So she can weed out the dirt bags.
    Just like the papparazi’s who stick camera in their faces, the actors should start taking pictures of these characters so as when there is an accident they’ll know who to go after. Better to fight fire with fire… Who knows some of these papaparazi might not want their pictures taken either.
