MARY-KATE AND ASHLEY OLSEN: LEGAL AT LAST!

Don’t underestimate the smarts of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Last week they turned 21 and had their private birthday dinner with around twenty-five of their nearest and dearest at Chateau Marmont. On Friday they had a BIG fancy party for 200 at their house and not only didn’t have to pay for it, but they earned money from it. But it wasn’t as much as they had hoped. They offered exclusive rights to the party and photos to magazines – hoping it would fetch a million dollars. The highest bidder paid $250,000 for the party exclusive AND paid for the entire event – another $200,000 at least. It’s a nice birthday present.

   I believe the Olsen twins should be paid for pictures taken at their private home (maybe that’s why they had it there versus a public place where they would’nt have control of who takes pictures) BUT to have their own party paid for is PLAIN GREEDY.

   Do they have parents? Id so, did these parents ever teach them about good taste or about earning a dollar by working?
   And I blame the stupid magazine that paid them for the pictures. How dumb!!!!

   It’s weird–they look like two little old ladies in this picture. Decades of media over exposure, and self abuse, have really done a number on these two.

And more on L.A.’s 80’s rockers, like Shane West in “What We Do Is Secret” the story of The Germs, stuff on Go-Go’s, The Motels, Kim Carnes, The Cretones, The Tubes, Olivia, Cher, you really lack imagination, Janet!
