We were happy to hear that Farrah Fawcett was seen in Beverly Hills right before Christmas. Considering her health problems, it’s good news that she’s out and about and she looks good.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

This is not her son. Son, Redmond, has naturally bright carrot red hair, like his pappy. He has been in and out of drug rehab for about 7 or 8 years.

It’s so good that she didn’t lose her hair with all the chemo treatments. Her hair was and is her fortune. She’s not a terribly bad actress either. Viva Farrah!

She was so gorgeous in the 70’s. A poster child though for what happens when you don’t use high SPF sunscreen and you’re a sun worshipper! Beware y’uns! Slather that 50+spf on everywhere and keep your great skin forever. I hope Farrah beats the cancer.
