Among the familiar faces traipsing up and down Main Street in Sundance we were delighted to find one of our alltime favorites: Jacqueline Bisset. She never complains about getting her picture taken and looks adorable.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

Ms. B has never married and has always been somewhat of a mystery. Have never heard anything bad about her. ‘The Deep’ is prob the raciest thing she has ever done. It pales in comparison though to today’s filthy flicks.

After more than 35 years in the business, Ms. Bisset continues to be a class act–with grace, beauty and intelligence.
Elizabeth Taylor once wisely said that people get the face they are born with at 20 and the face they deserve at 40.
Ms. Bisset somewhere near 60 still has the same timelss beauty she did back in the 1960’s.

She did a movie called secrets many years ago. She has some beautiful nude scenes in it. I agree though. Her beauty is timeless! We should all be so lucky!

Love her! I was a teenager during her prime and her style influence has stayed with me over the years. She still looks absolutly fabulous and a real classy lady. She has set a high bar for what passes as “actresses” today. My favorite movie of her’s is “Day For Night” If you get the opportunity see it! It includes an Academy Award winning performance from Valentina Cortese…another class act.
