CRISS ANGEL IS OUTRAGED WHEN GIRLFRIEND LOSES BEAUTY PAGEANT

Criss Angel seems to be turning into quite a little tyrant in Las Vegas. His current girlfriend Veronica Grabowski, Miss Nevada USA, didn’t make it to the finals in the Miss USA pageant last weekend. The illusionist was so incensed in the audience that he made an obscene gesture at the NBC camera. Angel was also seething because local gossip columnist Norm Clarke had written something about him intimidating a judge in the contest. (Norm is noted for the eyepatch he wears for medical reasons.) Furious Criss chased Norm down after the show, yelling more obscenities, and cornered him, threatening “Don’t ever write another word about me – or you’ll need a patch on your other eye!”

ELIZABETH TAYLOR GETS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR ON VENICE BEACH

Saturday afternoon on Venice Beach is always boisterous and few people paid attention when a big black Maybach pulled up to the handicapped parking. Two security guards helped Elizabeth Taylor out and into her wheelchair. Liz was dressed in a jogging suit, boots, hat and glasses, and her fluffy dog was on her lap. A witness said “Liz looked happy and calm – she seemed to enjoy gazing at the ocean and breathing the ocean air.” She was still smiling when her entourage of four or five people rolled her down the boardwalk.

ANDERSON COOPER GROOVES TO MARY J BLIGE

If you’re aching to know what Anderson Cooper is listening to on his iPod currently, we’ve got the scoop. In the past he enjoyed working out in the gym to The Clash, Johnny Cash, and The Hives. But lately he’s been growing fonder and fonder of Mary J Blige, and can’t get enough of her music in the gym and on his way to and from work. He’s so enamored with Blige that he’ trying to talk his mother Gloria Vanderbilt into inviting Mary to sing at her next big party. We hear that Mary knows about her famous fan and she’s delighted.

Eva Longoria Parker looks sweet walking out of Barneys and we’re amazed that she maneuvers so gracefully in those noteworthy sky high wedgie shoes. They’re about the same height as the clear lucite stripper shoes that Shauna Sand wears, but a whole lot more subtle. Eva never stumbles and these are at least six inches high.

We love the idea of Paris Hilton coming out with a line of headbands with hair attached. Here she is in Italy promoting the product called “Bandit.” ANYONE can have a flip, instantly! The one she’s wearing actually matches and looks real – we wonder if that’s what the actual product looks like. Next she can expand the line to include baseball caps, knitted hats, berets, fedoras, and yarmulkes – all with hair attached.
