SHEAR GENIUS: JOSE EBER COULD HAVE SAVED THE DAY

Jaclyn Smith’s reality hairdressing show Shear Genius featured a competition last night in which the contestants had to recreate (and hopefully improve upon) the original 70’s Charlie’s Angels’ hairdos. Kate Jackson was a special guest judge. Sounds like fun, huh? The contest was a huge flop! All the models looked dreary and Jaclyn said she wouldn’t be caught dead in ANY of the do’s – “then or now!” NOBODY won! The missing element was obviously Jose Eber- he could have taught those kids how to use hot rollers and shake the hair upside down and SPRAY. Where was Jose when we needed him, once again?

I don’t believe Jose could have saved this boring show. No one could.
2 Questions: Does Jaclyn need money?
    Is Jose gay?

A critic summed the show up the other day by saying, “Ugly people; ugly hair.”

Booooooooooooring.. These sad old stars aren’t what they used to be and should be happy with their good luck in a life’s work to have set up a nice retirement, matured nicely and let the history of their careers remain pristine memories.

I love this show, and especially Jaclyn Smith! All of the stylists who are left are NOT very good. I wonder who is going to win this…I can’t stand Charlie. This challenge was terrible–I could have done a better job!!!

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
