YOU KNOW THE OLSEN'S DESIGNS ARE SPECIAL IF MAXFIELD CARRIES THEM

olssens%20the%20row.jpg
Last weekend we had our first hands-on experience with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s upscale clothing line called “The Row.” (It’s named after the sartorially famous Savile Rowe in London.) The Olsens are best known for their perky Wal-Mart designs but this collection is obviously a labor of love. It’s very expensive and only sold in stores like Barneys New York, Browns in London, and Maxfield. (These are the places the Olsens actually shop at.) Maxfield had their final markdown sale last week and we saw some of the Olsen’s lush merchandise, including black leather leggings. We found a pair of unusual long red sleeves reduced to $29 by The Row and we snapped them up.

Michelle Elizabeth Tanner, so cute at 6 months old. Now with untold fortune and fame, these girls always look unhappy. Men, clubbing, booze, drugs, rehab, they’ve done it all. So what does their clothes and clothing line matter. The way they’re living, they won’t see 25.
(I would never buy a piece of clothing for the ‘name’).

Janet you shouldn’t buy their garbage, you’ll just encourage the trolls to make more.

I’m a older woman but I can appreciate MKandA’s fashion sense. No I can’t wear their stuff but I do get inspired by the myrads of looks they can throw together. Their fashion is very now, plus they have an eye that resonates with today’s youth.
The red sleeves sound darling. A quirky alternative to a sweater. Love it. Great find Janet.

Gee, long red sleeves; how cute and happening. I see them at the mall, in stores, church, school just all the time. So very in, this fashion. Not.

Hottest Movie Trailers This Week

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
