REDMOND O'NEAL'S DRUG SPONSOR IS ASHLEY HAMILTON

Here's an ironic piece of information: We were surprised to learn that Redmond O’Neal’s drug sponsor is Ashley Hamilton. Yes, the same guy who was married to Shannen Doherty and had numerous drug misadventures of his own in the past. Ashley has cleaned up his act and become a stand up comic. People who’ve seen him at The Laugh Factory say he’s really funny. Ashley Hamilton’s mother is Alana Stewart, who is Farrah Fawcett’s best friend. (Farrah, of course, is Redmond’s mom.) So THAT’s the connection. Ashley is apparently a better comic than he is drug sponsor, considering Redmond’s record.

   I don’t often see eye to eye with Gerard, but this time I think he may be spot on.
   This Hamilton chap does look like a homosexual.

   Janet, just wanted to point out that NO ONE can control a drug addict … not even a drug addict’s sponsor.
   People in recovery help each other recover … one day at a time.
   If an addict is in a willful mood, there’s nothing anyone can do to prevent him or her from using.

    I read that Ashley injected a girl with heroin, she overdosed and he left her to die in a bath tub. I bet he can work that in to his stand-up.
    By the way Redmond was quoted yesterday as saying “this is all just a major misunderstanding” I guess he missed that day of rehab where you learn to take responsibility for your actions.
