Gossip Girl's real life couple Penn Badgley and Blake Lively have a new political video warning parents NOT to vote for McCain. It’s a takeoff on those anti drug or don’t drink and drive video s aimed at teens. A funny idea, but will adults take advice from these kids? Meanwhile, the happy couple explored the West Village this weekend.

And WHY would we want to start taking advice from celebrities? Most of these people can’t even handle their own lives let alone know realistically who to vote for. They are great for entertainment but they have more money than they know what to do with. (They don’t live in the real world with normal issues)

I just hate both their names, both first and last, especially the name Lively.

While I love entertainment (movies, TV and music) I would never take advice from an entertainer. WHY? They have no real life experience – their lives are not realistic. Frankly, most of the entertainers are high school drop outs, drug addicts and/or serial adulterers. Why would I ever respect what they have to say. The real reason Blake and Penn voiced their “liberal” opinion — they want to work again! They want people in Hollywood to like them and trust me if they had come out and supported McCain or (God Forbid) Sarah Palin – they would NEVER work again. Don’t believe me – ask any conservative in Hollywood. Yep – they are hard to find…most just keep their opinions to themselves. One exception is Kelsey Grammer – he is vocal about his Republican leanings after 9/11. If you recall, one of the Producers on Frasier was murdered on the flight from Boston to LA.

I wouldn’t take voting advice from Blake although she does make my pants tighten up.

No Way that a celebrity would influence my vote. They live in a completely different world than most of us, with different morals, values, and standards.
Only in hollywood can someone date a married man/woman, have children out of wedlock, and get multiple DUI’s and yet still get applause and accolades!
Why on earth would I take their opinions seriously?

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
