MIA FARROW'S SECRET HEARTACHE: DID AIDS KILL HER DAUGHTER?

article-0-02EADA9B0larkcut.jpg Lark, the Vietnamese adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and Andre Previn, died tragically on Christmas day and the family had a quiet funeral on Monday. Lark, 35, left two daughters (12 and 13) and a boyfriend behind, but no one is talking about what she died from. The Daily Mail reported that Lark has been in declining health for the last decade and was treated for AIDS related pneumonia. THAT might explain the silence about her cause of death. People STILL don’t want to talk about AIDS. We’re betting that major AIDS activists and organizations will push to have the truth come out.

Seriously Janet, listen to Anonymous @ 7:32pm. Someone died on Christmas in their family. How bad could that feel?

I read Mia Farrow’s memoir a few years ago, it is an interesting read.
Mia Farrow suffered from polio when she was a child. She was hospitalized in a ward and isolated from her family for months on end. She used this experience to reach out to children who are ill and “hard to place” in adoptive families.
I did not realize her daughter Lark was ill.
    Very sad.
If you have your physical health, you have more than most.
and Miss Charleton, IMO this is not a family that would keep something quiet for fear of being stigmatized. Most likely this family did not want to use her illness and death as fodder for the press. They have already gone through the Woody Allen- Soon Yi crap and want some peace and quiet from the tabloid press.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with discussing what might have ended Lark Song’s life. She lived openly with her suffering. There is no shame here.

Janet, Mia’s business is no business of yours. How incredibly tasteless you have become!

It’s no ones business what she died from; leave the family alone to grieve… she had children for Christ’s sake who don’t need the speculation…

I absolutely agreed with Anonymous (9:10 PM). I dont think Mia would be embarrassed bt rather does not want it to be fodder for the press.
On a side note, its still a travesty that Soon Yi is not supportive (or even appreciative to) Mia Farrow.

Why would they have to? It is no one’s business
    what she died from.
For the record more people die from Cancer every year then AIDS so where are the activists for that?

How ironic, the decent daughter dies and that slutbucket Soon-yi who seduced her stepfather gets to live the life of the rich and famous. No justice in this world. RIP Lark.

Janet, thanks for posting the news. Another trajedy for Mia. What the hell is wrong with Woody Allen that he had to go shopping for a girlfriend in his “wife’s” family of children?

‘but no one is talking about what she died from. ‘
That’s because it’s no one’s business. My condolences to Mia Farrow and family on their loss. It’s terrible to lose a family member; especially over Christmas.

I don’t see anything wrong with wondering what she died from. It’s human nature to wonder what disease she suffered with. Many people talk about their diseases to bring awareness. How is this a bad thing?

The only things that AIDS Activists and AIDS organizations need to “push” for is a cure and for more education. Leave these people alone! They are grieving. Respect that.

I thought it had been reported years ago that Lark had HIV; I forget the circumstances, not that it matters.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
