Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen had a business meeting in the fashionable meat packing district of New York. As usual, Mary-Kate is a little more accessorized than her sister, but we love how tiny Ashley looks in flat boots. (Especially compared to the giant behind her.)

We’re thinking she needs a night out with her girlfriends more often. We almost didn’t recognize her. It looks like she’s letting her bangs grow out.

Seething mad about the weight gain comments after her Florida performance in mom jeans, Jessica Simpson pulled out all her ammunition at her Virginia show. She followed the list of tips that fashion mags give women about “looking ten pounds thinner instantly.” First she put on her highest heels, then she dressed in black from head to toe. (Unfortunately, skin-tight, shiny black isn’t what they meant) Finally, she poofed her hair out to the max – lots of hair supposedly makes a body look small. We think a new stylist is in order.
The people at Juliens Auctions have a massive job sorting through the contents of Neverland in preparation for the auction of Michael Jackson’s possessions on April 21. Michael just walked away from Neverland and left everything behind him. The stuff is warehoused in a huge space somewhere in Los Angeles. We were most amused to hear that Jackson had an enormous collection of Lladro type porcelain figurines of rosy-cheeked children and MOUNTAINS of photographs of babies and children – none of them his own. He also collected large full color ads used in stores to sell products for babies and kids. The catalog is in five volumes and it’s bound to be a collector’s item.

It’s funny how Sara Gilbert has always played smart characters – she’s currently playing a bainiac on The Big Bang Theory. MAYBE it’s because she graduated from Yale with honors in 1997. Say what you will about her fashion choices, she does have a pair of adorable kids – Levi, 4, and Sawyer,1 and a half. Sara and her longtime partner Allison Adler each gave birth to one child.

Cher LOVES to shop in the cosmetics department of Barneys. (The last time she visited Sephora she spent $800 on makeup – and that’s not easy.) On this visit she refused to remove her sunglasses but it was very difficult to see the products and colors through the dark lenses. Most people would push their glasses up on their head, but Cher chose to slide her shades down under her nose, thus creating a whole new look.

We like this photo of Miley Cyrus because she looks like a typical happy-go-lucky teenager instead of a Hollywood hottie wannabe. Maybe she’s super casual because her boyfriend Justin Gaston isn’t around.
Party girl Pamela Anderson hosted a night at Primal nightclub in Atlanta and she was an active participant in the festivities. She arrived on time and, unlike SOME people we know, didn’t retreat to a dark corner. She mingled with the crowd of 2000 – posing for photos and sipping champagne. She danced and flirted and partied until 2:30 AM. Pam and her pals were put up at the W Hotel in midtown Atlanta. It’s rumored that she was paid around $50,000 for the night and promoters say she was worth every cent.
