GOLDEN GLOBE WINNER MICKEY ROURKE KNOWS WHO HIS REAL FRIENDS ARE

Best Actor Mickey Rourke really won us over at the Golden Globes when he thanked his dogs in his acceptance speech. He commented that “they were with him when no one else was” and made a sentimental reference to his present and past dogs. He looked like he had a tear in his eye and we suddenly wondered if his constant companion – his beloved 16 year old chihuahua Loki, was no longer alive. To our immense relief, we were told that Loki is doing fine. And SO is Mickey.

   Oh come on…Mickey Dorke alienated a lot of people because he was an ASSHOLE. Dogs love their owners even if they beat them. They can’t distinguish who and who isn’t an ASSHOLE like Mickey was. Mickey was handed a gift from Afronsky. Darren gave him a 2nd chance but told him he had to quit being an AHOLE and listen to him and he’d put him back up into Hollywood’s good graces. Darren did that. Now Mickey just has to do an attitude adjustment and behave himself and he’ll build a nice retirement account as long as he doesn’t spend it all.

   I must admit to being curious about this movie after all the “buzz” and now the accolades and awards, but it has been hard for me for years now to even see him in photos in rag mags with his butchered up mug, I can’t IMAGINE paying and sitting thru two hours of staring at his mutilated face!!!! EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
   Talk about NIGHTMARE inducing!!!

   Give this guy a break and let him enjoy the comeback regardless of past transgressions. He’s paid the piper. Its real easy to sink into a typical dark Hollyweird oblivion. The real story is those that come out of it relatively intact and can return to fame and fortune. Interesting stuff.

    You gotta love a real man (whom knows & appreciates real love & loyalty) in the fake world of hollywood. I agree, cut Mickey some slack. He even picked out his own clothes! Right or wrong, Mickey is the real deal.
