Howard Stern and his teenage daughter Ashley took time for a father-daughter jog in New York City. It looks like Howard is giving some advice to Ashley, who is particularly fond of Howard’s new wife Beth Ostrosky.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

Stern is not paid enough. He brought 8 million subscribers to Sirius before the merger. Viacom robbed him out of so much money when he was there, it should be criminal. Oprah is way too overpaid. Plus, she got $55 million for her satellite radio channel and she doesn’t put any effort into it.

Why exactly is he an embarrassment? Because he’s a divorced Dad spending time with his daughter? Or perhaps simply because he brings to the forefront the EXACT banter that is exchanged between males from age 12 on up everyday?
Howard Stern is one of the premier interviewers in our lifetime. Don’t like potty talk or locker room humor exercise your option to turn it off OR just don’t subscribe to Sirius-XM. Pul-lease. Just get over yourself.

Stern is a smart guy. I just wish he’d knock off the juvenile behavior and have a real show. I’d love to see him with a cable TV interview show where he asks tough questions and then really grills for an answer. I’d sure respect him a whole lot more because he is a good interviewer. Who cares about big boobs or porn or any of that schtick he goes. I wish he’d stop appealing to the lowest common denominator and do something good with his popularity like effect positive change in this world.
