KATHY GRIFFIN TAKES A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

Kathy Griffin knows she needs controversial guests (like Britney’s ex Adnan Ghalib last season) on her reality show “My Life on the D-List,’ so she finagled rapper T.I. to hang with her. Maybe she wants a prison pen pal. Later this month, T.I. is going to jail for a year for two gun felonies. The unlikely twosome had a snack at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n Waffles and strolled on the Boulevard while cameras rolled.

   Please, everyone in the industry knows her show is totally scripted. I think it’s gotten boring because it’s so egocentric. Going to meet her assistant’s family and friends? Really? NOT FUNNY miss griffin. I know that makes you big in Fresno but we don’t care. You can have someone else funny on the show…at least your mothers a character but the others…yawn. Wouldn’t that be called supporting cast?
   Check the ego and come back down to earth for a minute and do something funny. You don’t want to end up like Fay Dunaway..

   Kathy Griffin has jumped the shark. She was funny until two or three years ago. Then she became the very thing she makes fun of in her act. The fact that she still pulls this “D list” crap is insulting. There is nothing D-list about winning Emmys or getting a $2 million book deal.
