We are really happy to see Project Runway season 3 contestant Malan Breton enjoying success in New York’s competitive fashion world. Malan is such a unique personality and we were sorry to see him lose on the show but he has persevered and here he is showcasing his fashion collection with great fanfare at Splash Bar in NYC. He’s come a LONG way since he waited on us in the designer department at Barneys.

We all know that these reality shows are stacked. The producers want contentious personalities and lots of conflict. Malan was too classy and normal, and that probably played a role in his getting the boot so early on Project Runway. I wish him the best.
