HEART WAS A PIONEER IN VIDEO TECHNOLOGY

You don't run into Ann and Nancy Wilson of “Heart” walking around Hollywood too often. The pair just picked up an award from the ASCAP music society. Ann has always struggled with her weight. She has the dubious honor of being the first performer in a video that we remember being technically “stretched” to look thinner. Now things like that are done all the time, but back in the 80’s it was a big deal.

You think she could have found a dress without stains on it to wear.

I was hoping to get a comment in before the ignorant haters had a chance to say something negative about a truly wonderful woman. She actually looks like she’s been working on the diet, because she was larger last time I saw her on TV. Applaud the woman’s talent and personality, people, instead of spreading the bile that scared her away from the business.

Heart is great!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t care how much either one of them weigh – talent isn’t about weight.
    Rock on, Wilsons!!!

Anne Wilson can sing, both she and Nancy are amazing and have to agree with posters who do not measure their weight to know their true talent.

Regarding the weight: Keep on struggling, bebe.

I wish you could’ve used a better picture of Ann. She looks absolutely terrific these days and that picture does not do her justice!

Anybody who measures somebody’s talent by how much they weigh is a moron.

This site is obsessed with being anorexic, like all of Hollywood. It’s no wonder so many women have eating disorders.

Heart WAS and IS great. The Wilson sisters are incredible songwriters and performers – they provide good stuff to the soundtracks of the 70’s and 80’s. It is too bad that they were so tortured by Image (Nancy has a great quote about her feet hurting all through the 80’s, because of the requisite stilettos). Heart is both a success story and a cautionary tale about sexism in the entertainment business. Madonna may have more money and fame, but she does not have a tenth the talent.

I love Heart! Ann Wilson can sing, unlike the trash like Britney, Jessica and Ashley, etc.

You are spot on!!!!!!!!!! Anne and Nancy have more talent in their little fingers than Madonna has in her whole “re-invented” body!!!!!!!!
They carved their way when the music world was all guys and these two chicks hit it out of the ball park!
The females of rock owe A LOT to these two.

So why aren’t these two in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame already? Saw them in concert last year, and Ann with her fabulous voice was mesmerizing.

it’s pretty simple: AS LONG AS THE MUFFINS, STEAKS & THE REST OF THE FOOD ARE TWICE AS BIG IN SIZE AS IN EUROPE, ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE FAMILIAR WITH WEIGHT-PROBLEMS, folks

Heart rocks! Ann is beautiful, no matter what, and that is NOT the dress she wore to the event. It was the outfit she was travelling in.
Please be more responsible, Janet. You should know what it’s like to be a woman in show business.

Just a quick note, there’s either a flash or a professional grade camera light on her, and it can show old stains that have actually been washed out to the human eye.
I’ve had the honor of seeing her before, and she is both gracious and impeccable in her hygiene and dress.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
