Sean Penn spends a lot of time in Brentwood for someone whose family lives in Northern California. The last we heard, he and his long suffering wife Robin Wright were reconciling, but it might work out better if they arrange to live in the same town. In the photo above, he was snapped visiting a female friend in Brentwood and as usual, he doesn’t look happy about it.
UPDATE: This woman has been identified as Robin and they both look miserable, don’t they?

Eva Mendes must be adored in Italy because she looks like the ideal image of a bigger than life Italian movie star, reminiscent of Sophia Loren. She’s in Portofino, Italy with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and her rarely seen filmmaker boyfriend George Gargurevich. Eva and George are attending the Giffoni Film Festival.

Who would have guessed that “Dancing With The Stars” partners Shannon Elizabeth,35, and Derek Hough, 24, would still be together a year later? Certainly not In Touch magazine, which claimed the couple admitted their romance was faked to earn audience votes. In fact, Derek moved in with Shannon while they were competing and never left. Above, the playful pair shopped for household items in Target where they bought towels, closet fixtures and a welcome mat.

Another happily unmarried couple: Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. They’ve been together for four years, and right now they’re vacationing in Hawaii. You can see by this photo that they are genuinely in love. And Jenny’s little boy Evan has no complaints. Jim bought Jenny her own house in Beverly Hills so she’ll always feel secure, but she spends most of her time with him.

How adorable is Rob Pattinson, looking down and out, in this photo from the last days of shooting on the set of “Remember Me?” He’s not really suffering, he’s just ACTING, but don’t you just want to take him home? Meanwhile, San Diego is bracing itself for Rob’s visit to Comic-Con on Thursday, July 23, where he’s promoting “New Moon.” The convention sold out as SOON as he confirmed his appearance.
