Add “Dancing with the Stars” Karina Smirnoff to the list of celebrities foolish enough to take off their clothes for the animal cult PETA. Or maybe these celebrities just want an EXCUSE to take off their clothes. If they really cared about animals they’d volunteer or donate money to the many fine animal rights organizations that use their money to neuter and care for pets – NOT to purchase billboard space for self aggrandizement.

Ryan O’Neal can relax – John Phillips of the ironically named group “The Mamas and the Papas” has turned out to be an even WORSE Hollywood father than Ryan. “One Day at a Time” star Mackenzie Phillips has a new book “High on Arrival” and she admits that her musician father John, who was addicted to drugs and alcohol, introduced her to both heroin and incest. She tells in horrific detail about her childhood of drugs and her ten year incestuous affair with her father and the resulting abortion he paid for. John’s other daughter Chynna doesn’t doubt Mackenzie’s story. His ex-wife Michelle Phillips insists that Mackenzie is “mentally ill” but she’s probably embarrassed because she MARRIED the monster. We were always resentful that John Phillips got a liver transplant in 1992 when surely there were more deserving sick people who needed a liver. Phillips was witnessed drinking not long after his surgery.

Men no longer have to be dancers or bike riders to wear tights. Selfridge’s in London is introducing a line of fashion tights specifically for men. They cost around a hundred dollars and are being marketed as ideal for wearing under suits on cold days and for fashion reasons as well. They’re available in white, black, military green, and tribal prints. (We’re thinking Adam Lambert would love the black ones.) Each pair comes with instructions on how to put them on properly. Selfridge’s predicts many of their male customers will have “a secret in their trousers.” Who will be the first celebrity to wear these?

IS JOHN TRAVOLTA DISILLUSIONED WITH SCIENTOLOGY?

We were SHOCKED to learn that Scientologist John Travolta has admitted in court at his extortion trial in the Bahamas, that his son Jett was autistic and suffered from a seizure disorder common to the disease. This is a very big turnaround! John always insisted that Jett had something called Kawasaki disease caused by toxins in his carpet. Scientology doesn’t believe autism is a real disorder so Jett was never treated for autism. Travolta’s courtroom confession is a huge SLAP IN THE FACE to Scientology. Has John finally realized that Scientology doesn’t know it ALL? In recent weeks John has supposedly been deep in despair and contemplation, depressed over Jett’s death. (Feeling guilty perhaps, for not acknowledging and treating his son’s autism?) Maybe, just maybe, he is coming to his senses about Scientology. And not a minute too soon.
