Candy Spelling’s 150 million dollar mansion has been on the market for eight months and she will not budge on her asking price. Candy’s in no rush to sell, but we’re betting her real estate agent, Rick Hilton (that’s Paris Hilton’s dad) would like to close the deal. The 56,500 sq ft, 4.7 acre property – it’s larger than the White House – has had a number of qualified lookers, but no takers. Hilton specializes in trophy properties and this is perhaps the biggest trophy of all in Los Angeles. He stands to make millions when it finally sells, but since Candy is stubborn, he’ll just have to relax and wait.

STEVE MARTIN BICYCLES THROUGH CENTRAL PARK

A fully equipped Steve Martin took a ride in Central park – and he wasn’t too macho to ride a girl’s bike. Steve’s movie, “It’s Complicated” with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin, will be released on Christmas day. Alec also happens to be Steve’s cohost for the Academy Awards.

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS BRANGELINA BOOK

Here’s something to cross OFF your Christmas list: That new book “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” by Ian Halperin, who also considers himself an expert on Michael Jackson. Apparently Halperin read every magazine cover story about Brad and Angelina “breaking up” and turned it into a book. None of the material seems to be original and very little seems to be accurate. Halperin doesn’t know the real story behind Brad and Jennifer Aniston’s split, so it’s improbable that he got much else right. Halperin insists that Angelina is tired of Brad’s pot smoking and Brad is turned off by Angelina’s temper, and the relationship is about to implode. We predict Brad and Angelina will prove him wrong.

TIGER WOODS’ CRASH CAR IS IN HIDING ALSO

The Tiger Woods cover-up continues! Not only is Tiger refusing to reveal the details of his “accident” early Friday morning but he’s hiding the Cadillac SUV involved in the situation. After his car was towed away it was moved to the middle of a car storage area and it is the only one on the lot totally covered up by tarps. Lots of clues might be found on that vehicle. We’ve seen photos of the collision area but what might be even MORE interesting are the windows broken by Elin’s golf club. Did she bash the back of the car while chasing her husband in a rage? Did she knock Tiger OUT? Tiger and the Cadillac are both in hiding.

L.A. BIZARRO: ALMOST MORE THAN YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THE UNDERBELLY OF LOS ANGELES

We couldn’t WAIT for the new L.A.Bizarro book to arrive in the mail. It’s a guide, researched by Matt Maranian and Anthony Lovett, to the strangest places and elements of Los Angeles. Our favorite chapter is all about the free Scientology museum called “Psychiatry: An Industry of Death” located on Sunset Blvd. The book says that “fresh-faced volunteers who look and act exactly like human beings” guide visitors through the museum’s interactive displays of medieval torture, Victorian cruelty, modern atrocities, and lobotomies. The museum portrays psychiatrists as murderous sex-addicted quacks who are part of a global conspiracy. Psychiatry is blamed for the Nazi Holocaust, Islamic terrorism, 9/11, and school shootings. Warning: at the end of the tour, visitors are pressured to fill our surveys and reveal personal information. L.A. Bizarro prepares you for everything. Anybody who loves Los Angeles like we do, should own this book.

Mickey Rourke, 57, knows the way to a model’s heart is not through her stomach – lunch is fine, but a real live puppy is better. He seems to be cultivating a relationship with Russian model Elena Kuletskaya, 24, – they’ve been seen together in New York and the UK. He took her shopping at “Parrots & Pups” in the West Village and they carefully considered their choices. Elena got the puppy she wanted and they left together cuddling the new baby. We just wish they had adopted, instead of buying.

Jaclyn often wears clothing from her OWN Kmart line and we admire her for that. Jaclyn’s $30 cashmere sweater offered last Christmas became the number one best seller of all Kmart online items. She’s a discount mogul.

DID TIGER WOODS’ WIFE BEAT HIM UNCONSCIOUS WITH A GOLF CLUB?

The more Tiger Woods slams the door on the inquisitive cops, the more intriguing his “story” becomes. Apparently, he’s had advice from a lawyer and decided not to discuss his embarrassing crash with the police. But it’s not difficult to put the pieces together and figure out exactly what happened. We picture tiger’s wife Elin, shortly before the accident, alternately waving the National Enquirer in Tiger’s face, screaming accusations of cheating, and battering him. Tiger, like many men, chose to leave when the going got rough, and as he grabbed his keys, Elin tore after him with a golf club. He leaped into his Cadillac SUV with Elin hot on his heels, smashing all the car windows she could reach. As he looked back at her he slammed into the fire hydrant and tree. In photos it appears that the vehicle was only damaged on the front passenger side. Yet, somehow he ended up unconscious on the ground. Did Elin BEAT him unconscious? SIGNIFICANTLY, the neighbor with property damage called 911, NOT Elin. Did the cops check for blood on the golf club? It’s a juicy story and it’s bound to reverberate for awhile – especially since the “party girl” Tiger is accused of cheating with, has hired Gloria Allred.

COURTNEY LOVE AND DJ QUALLS: STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT

We were enthralled by the Page Six story about Courtney Love, 45, hooking up with DJ Qualls, 31 and we just had to display their photos side by side. He’s the skinny actor from “Hustle & Flow” who usually plays a brainy nerd, and you’ve seen him a million times. According to the paper, Courtney and her band were partying at 1Oak, and Qualls, who was at the next table, introduced himself. They started chatting and soon Courtney was “all over him.” She dragged Qualls to Scores strip club where major smooching took place. They stumbled out at 4 AM. Quite an amusing couple.

Are YOU thinking what WE’RE thinking about Tiger Woods’ “accident?” Surely it’s not a coincidence that this drama happened the day after the National Enquirer released the story about Tiger having an affair with New York party girl Rachel Uchitel. (photo above) Their Dec 7th issue detailed at least three trysts that Tiger and Rachel had in hotels in Las Vegas, Melbourne, and New York. (It gets lonely on those golf tours!) The odd circumstances of the crash – Tiger racing out of the driveway at 2:30 AM and hitting a hydrant and a tree, not to mention the “lacerations to his lips” and the fact that his wife Elin smashed the rear widow of the SUV with a golf club. Sounds to us like a few holiday cocktails and a scandal set off a family firestorm. We expect Elin will be getting a big diamond SOMETHING soon…..

Mischa Barton doesn’t look terribly distressed over the cancellation of “The Beautiful Life” (the remaining episodes will air but no new shows have been ordered.) However, she does look DIFFERENT than she did on the series. We’re not sure this is a flattering hair color – maybe we just need time to get used to it. . It’s rumored that she‘ll be starring in a movie “Upstate” with Chace Crawford, so all is not lost.

Here’s an interesting photo of Melanie Griffith, her kids, and her mother Tippi Hedren at the airport. Melanie’s son Alexander (with ex-husband Steven Bauer) is 24, her daughter Dakota (with ex-husband Don Johnson) is 20, and her youngest, Stella, (with present husband Antonio Banderas) is 13. We think Alexander looks a LOT more like Don Johnson than he looks like his father Steven Bauer – do you see the resemblance?
UPDATE: The mystery is solved, thanks to our astute readers. The Don Johnson lookalike IS actually Don’s son with Patti D’Arbanville. He’s Jesse Johnson, an actor, and Dakota’s half brother. The photographer misidentified him.

LADY GAGA STOLE HER ACT FROM JOEY ARIAS

Los Angeles is soooo lucky to have “Arias with a Twist” featured at the Redcat theater in Gehry’s glorious Disney Hall until mid-December. We’ve known Joey since the early 70’s when he was an eager high school kid in a band, working in our clothing store, The Garment District, on Sunset Strip. He was always bursting with creativity and when he moved to New York he joined up with legendary operatic performance artist Klaus Nomi and became a New Wave megastar in New York nightlife. Joey channels not only Billie Holiday, but Joan Crawford and Marlene Dietrich. Joey’s incredibly vixenish costumes are designed by his pal Thierry Mugler and executed by Project Runway’s Chris March. The cabaret show is affordable and deliciously entertaining. Lady Gaga’s AMA performance reminded us a LOT of Joey – we think she stole his act!

Dr Robert Rey is the first doctor we’ve seen with custom tailored surgical scrubs. They’re BLACK with a flattering trim fit, they have the doctor’s name monogrammed on the chest, and best of all, the sleeves are shortened to better reveal the doctor’s tan and muscular arms. “Take THAT Posh Spice!” is what Lady Gaga seems to be saying with this outlandishly shoulderpadded black suit. Victoria Beckham was first to rock the exaggerated pagoda shoulder look, but now Gaga has outdone her by a mile. HER shoulders are so big they look like the back of an easy chair. Lady Gaga loves the outfit so much she’s already worn it TWICE – while signing CD’s for fans at Best Buy and on the Jay Leno show. We love her sense of humor.

We’ve been haunted by this photo since our creative colleague James St. James revealed it on the WOW Report. The year was 1902 and Joseph Stalin was 24 years old. But his look is so sexy and modern – who’d have guessed this handsome guy would end up a tyrant responsible for millions of deaths – not to mention the Cold War. Why wasn’t THIS the photo plastered all over the Soviet Union instead of the horrible mustache picture? We think he looks like an actor, but can’t decide which one.
