During a two hour dinner at La Loggia in Studio City, she went to the bathroom nine times and barely ate a thing. A few weeks later she and her husband ate at Nobu, but she barely touched her food and drank instead. After six trips to the bathroom she practically had to be carried out the door by her husband. She’s convinced she’ll gain weight if she stops using, and her family is frantic.

We felt a twinge of regret when Rob Pattinson left Los Angeles on Halloween- only days after he arrived from Canada. We secretly hoped he’d stick around for awhile and we’d bump into him somewhere. (Anything can happen in this town.) Now that possibility is shattered since he he’s flown away to start publicizing his “New Moon” movie. Sigh.

BRAD AND ANGELINA SCARE THE NEIGHBORS

Brad and Angelina didn’t miss Halloween with their kids. The four oldest children dressed up and went trick or treating with their parents in their LA neighborhood – and they didn’t need a lot of bodyguards. Brad dressed up as the kids’ favorite TV character – DJ Lance Rock from Nick Jr’s Yo Gabba Gabba show. Angelina splattered some blood on herself and dusted white powder in her hair, Zahara was Batman, Shiloh and Maddox were in camouflage army clothes, but we don’t know about Pax. The beads in Brad’s beard are slightly unsettling.

RELEASE OF MICHAEL JACKSON’S “THIS IS IT” HAS ALREADY BEEN EXTENDED FOR THREE MORE WEEKS

We KNEW that Sony would drop their “two weeks only” release of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” but we didn’t think it would happen so FAST. The movie, which was released Tuesday to great reviews, was number one at the box office, earning 32.5 million, but Sony had been hoping for 40 million. Sony immediately extended the release for three more weeks so you still have plenty of time to catch the movie at your local cineplex. Apparently the film wipes out any negative memories viewers had of Michael’s “idiosyncrasies” and they walk out lamenting the loss of his talent. Have YOU seen it yet?

Winona Ryder looks like she REALLY doesn’t want to be noticed at LAX where she is apparently traveling with an unidentified man. Winona, 38, hasn’t had much luck in the love department- she’s dated plenty of guys but her relationships don’t seem to last. (Remember, she was once engaged to Johnny Depp?) One of her problems is, she has a weakness for musicians, who usually don’t make ideal partners.

We almost didn’t recognize Brooke Shields in her black wig as she took her daughters Rowan, 6, and Grier, 3, trick or treating on Halloween in New York. We like the fact that she gets into the spirit of the moment and has fun with her kids. Recently Brooke admitted in an interview that she didn’t lose her virginity until she was 22 – and regrets that it didn’t happen sooner!
