Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes doesn’t care WHO his ex-wife Kate Hudson is dating – he’s starting a new family of his own. He and Kate have a son together, Ryder, 5, and Chris’s girlfriend of two years, Allison Bridges, is expecting a baby in January.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

I went to middle and high school with this guy. He was SO much different then! He wore Polo shirts, and his father was a JV football coach and Chris was on the team, though he was known to be a wimp. He was so different than he is now!
My sister got in a wreck with him in high school when they were smoking out in the car, and he lost control. He was driving a little hatchback of some sort, and drove off into a creek in the winter. She said that as they were sitting there with the cops and tow truck, he was crying like a baby. She said it’s no wonder he sought out the spot light…drama queen that he is.
Anyway, another friend of mine was the manager of his band, before they got famous, and he said that Kate was a drag on Chris. She always seemed like a prima dona to me, when I’d read interviews about them. I knew they would never last!

Women are dream killers. When a man starts to get his act together in life, most women do whatever they are able to derail him. Kate Hudson is a prime example. He is fortunate to be rid of her.
