Avril Lavigne is single now and she can go anywhere she wants in her Chanel sneakers. We wonder if something happened between her and her close friend Brandon Davis because they haven’t been palling around. Brandon is in Europe now (mooching off other people?) He insists that he and Avril were just friends and he didn’t break up her marriage. We agree – and tend to believe that what Brandon and Avril had in common was more “substance” than “romance.“
