Jason Statham and his model girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived at Heathrow airport with a mountain of luggage. It must be nice not to have to worry about how much your luggage weighs! Rosie ‘s career is blossoming – her movie Mad Max: Fury Road with Tom Hardy comes out next year, and Jason has four films yet to be to be released.
The late Eydie Gorme and her husband Steve Lawrence guested on just about every TV variety show in the 1960’s when they weren’t appearing in Las Vegas. Their “easy listening” cocktail music like “Blame it on the Bossa Nova” delighted parents who hated rock n roll. They were pals with Sinatra, and Eydie died at the age of 84 in Las Vegas this weekend.

Three years ago, celebrity publicist Howard Bragman announced that he was developing a reality show called “Coming Out” and he was looking for closeted celebrities to appear on the show and announce their sexual preference. We thought it was a fascinating but unrealistic idea. One of Howard’s specialties is helping famous people come out gracefully and he had worked with Lance Bass, Chaz Bono, and Dick Sargent. The reality show never came together because no stars wanted to come out! So in spite of the progress gays have achieved, “coming out” is still a courageous and difficult act.
