CHLOE SEVIGNY HAS IT ALL

Chloe Sevigny has had this boyfriend with the impressive head of hair for at least a year, but nobody seems to know his name. The 38 year old actress has kept busy filming the movie Lovelace and appearing on American Horror Story: Asylum on TV. She’s a fashion icon in New York and also a designer for the Opening Ceremony fashion collection.

KELLAN LUTZ: WOULD YOU BUY A SHIRT FROM THIS MAN?

Kellan Lutz, who played Rob Pattinson’s brother in the Twilight series, seems to be serious and hands-on when it comes to his fashion collection called Abbot & Main (named after a Venice Beach intersection.) He’s actually at the MAGIC show in Las Vegas selling his own Spring 2014 collection to store and boutique buyers. Kellan has been moonlighting as a designer for two years and his menswear is sold at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. He started modeling at 14 and got interested in fashion. After the show he’ll take off for Bulgaria where he’s appearing in The Expendables 3 to lure younger ticket buyers. (Above, he’s giving his sales pitch)

CHELSEA HANDLER’S BOYFRIEND ANDRE BALAZS COULD END UP A HERO OR A MONSTER

We will NEVER forget flying TWA on one of our first visits to New York and arriving in the Eero Saarinen designed terminal. It was like heaven. We weren’t knowledgeable about architecture at that time but were in AWE of the structure. It was like Tomorrowland at Disneyland had come to life! These were the days when the skies WERE friendly and airlines tried to outdo each other with modern terminals. None ever topped this masterpiece. Of course it closed in 2001 and Chelsea Handler’s boyfriend Standard hotelier Andre Balazs is negotiating to buy it and develop it into a hotel. A wonderful idea – IF he retains the original structure. He SAYS he will, but we’ve heard that before. If Andre does the right thing with this architectural treasure, he will have done the world a favor.

BONO IS DETERMINED TO HELP AFRICAN NATIONS CREATE JOBS

It’s been an uphill battle for Bono and his wife Ali Hewson’s ethical clothing line Edun. Since 2005 the socially conscious couple have tried to establish clothing factories in Africa and train workers. They hope to guide African nations raise the cotton and manufacture the finished product. Establishing factories in Africa hasn’t been easy and the clothing line lost 7.8 million last year. (Better than 2011 when they lost 8.5 million.) Maybe there aren’t enough socially conscious consumers. Big names like Louis Vuitton (see ad above) and Diesel have lent their support to the struggling company. But Bono is not giving up – he’s still determined to industrialize Africa and create jobs.
