NewYork Marathon Pamela Anderson

IS PAM ANDERSON RISKING HER LIFE FOR HAITI?

Pamela Anderson, 46, has announced that she’s running in the New York Marathon this year to raise money for Haitian relief. We can’t help but wonder what jogging might do to her huge implants. We really haven’t seen Pam run since she appeared on Baywatch in that red bathing suit. But that wasn’t anywhere near the six plus miles in the marathon. Certainly she’ll raise a lot of money and be a decorative addition to the race, but isn’t this risky for her?

Sarah Jessica Parker’s fashionable twins are only four, but every year Tabitha and Marion get more particular about what they wear. We can only imagine what it’s like getting these two ready for school every day. It’s like having two live Barbie dolls. Thanks to Sarah, they always look adorable and it seems like mom had minimal time for herself today and settled for jeans and a camo jacket.

GINA GERSHON IS DOING DONATELLA VERSACE A FAVOR

Imagine that! Donatella Versace is not AT ALL happy that Lifetime is producing the TV movie House of Versace and would have NOTHING to do with it. In fact the Versaces made it very difficult by not allowing any access to their fashion archives and refusing to answer any attempt to contact them, according to Merle Ginsberg at The Hollywood Reporter. The story is about Donatella’s rise to power after the murder of her brother Gianni. She struggled with drug abuse, near bankruptcy and rehab, but survived and triumphed. Beautiful actress Gina Gershon (above left) had a huge makeover to play the rather scary Donatella and the designer should be flattered.

SORRY MISS DENEUVE- YOU CAN’T SMOKE HERE!

French actress Catherine Deneuve still gets around – she attended Jean Paul Gaultier’s runway show during Fashion Week in Paris. Back in the 1970’s Catherine’s elegant ads for Chanel No. 5 made it hugely popular in the USA. She’s a longtime cigarette smoker and is irate about the increasing bans on smoking. We bet someone told her to put the cigarette out right after this photo was taken.

Chris Hemsworth Movies Rush

“RUSH” – A SPORTS MOVIE WOMEN CAN GET EXCITED ABOUT

If you’re on the fence about whether or not to see “Rush” – you might be pleasantly surprised. It’s more than screaming crowds and racing engines. Actually there is a surprising dose of humanity in the story – thanks to director Ron Howard. He doesn’t put action above plot and character development. It’s based on the true story of two famous race car drivers and it all takes place in the swinging 70’s when they were considered heroes. As delectable as Chris Hemsworth is to look at in this movie, he reveals himself to be a satisfying and talented actor. For a movie about sports, this one is a winner.

KIM KARDASHIAN: WHO TAKES THE BLAME FOR THIS LOOK?

Would it KILL Kim Kardashian to wear something that isn’t SKIN TIGHT? She and Kanye turned up at the Givenchy show in Paris and she wore her babydaddy’s favorite color, but otherwise the frumpy frock was a mess. Too much cleavage and it was pulling in all directions because it was small and rumpled. From the neck up, Kim looked fine. She was obviously trying way too hard.

KATE UPTON: THE GIRL CAN’T HELP IT

Kate Upton was just snubbed by the fashion industry – in spite of her incredible popularity she was not named among the 500 Most Influential People in Fashion while less famous models were included. When we heard, it immediately brought to mind Anna Nicole Smith who became famous overnight for her Guess ads and incredible beauty. She, too, was voluptuous and not a typical skinny model. Like Anna, Kate is more of a personable pin-up girl than a clothes hanger. If the fashion industry snubs Kate, we think Hollywood will be glad to have her. Kate’s third movie, The Other Woman, will be released next year.

Asperger's Syndrome Autism Daryl Hannah

DARYL HANNAH MAY BE SHY, BUT SHE’S NOT AUTISTIC

This week Daryl Hannah made the “shocking revelation” that she suffers from autism and had “debilitating shyness” as a child. Sorry, but we’re not buying it. Daryl is far too accomplished an actress. Daryl believes she has a form of autism called Asperger’s Syndrome but there’s more to this disorder than extreme shyness. People with Asperger’s are of normal intelligence but cannot react appropriately in social situations. They have great difficulty developing friendships or sharing pleasant activities with others. They simply don’t understand other people and cannot share feelings or humor. Daryl is a successful actress who has understood and played many types of characters. She has dated some of the hottest guys in Hollywood – not to mention John F Kennedy Jr. She seems to have no trouble socializing. (We’ve seen her at parties.) We have our doubts about her self diagnosis.
