HEIDI FLEISS DEVASTATED AT FATHER’S WAKE

Dr Paul Fleiss’s wake was last Friday and according to a witness, the 80 year old pediatrician’s daughter Heidi Fleiss appeared emotionally devastated. The memorial for the popular doctor attracted an impressive crowd. (He delivered Madonna’s daughter Lourdes) Heidi bawled inconsolably through the entire service. Back in the 90’s, Heidi was distraught when her father was inadvertently pulled into her call girl scandal because he signed on his daughter’s mortgage. Heidi reportedly looked healthy and clearheaded in spite of her apparent distress.

KIRSTIE ALLEY WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH LEAH REMINI’S FRIENDS

It’s a good thing Leah Remini has friends like Jennifer Lopez because her former friend Kirstie Alley wishes nothing but the WORST for her. Just to show you how loony Scientology IS – Kirstie has called off her friendship with her DWTS dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy because he’s hanging out with Jennifer Lopez, and Jen happens to be friends with Leah! (Leah, as you know, left Scientology not long ago) That’s third generation SHUNNING! Maks revealed this on Watch What Happens Live so it’s no rumor! Incidentally, Jennifer has agreed to appear on Leah’s reality show “It’s All Relative” – and that is a friend, in deed.

In real life, handsome Chadwick Boseman looks NOTHING like James Brown and we cannot imagine what kind of facial appliances were used in the movie “Get on Up” to give him Brown’s face. Now Chadwick can walk through the airport unmolested, but after he’s nominated for an Oscar, those days will be over.

Chadwick Boseman Get On Up! James Brown Movies

RUN RIGHT OUT AND SEE THE MOVIE “GET ON UP!”

Get On Up! is one of the best movies of the year! And who ISN’T a fan of James Brown’s music? We never realized what a dreadful childhood Brown endured – he was thrust into adulthood with no education and limited knowledge of ethics. Yet he went on to become of the greatest all time entertainers. Chadwick Boseman captures Brown perfectly and played him from the ages of 17 to 63. His hairstyles and wardrobe are perfection. We were lucky to meet James Brown backstage after a performance during the 60’s in the south side of Chicago. (During the show we caught the turquoise rhinestone cufflink he threw to the audience. And we still have it. ) Backstage, James’ southern accent was difficult to understand, but he was friendly and showed us his wardrobe and his beauty secrets, including pink foam hair rollers. He always wore Cuban heel boots and high hair because he was short. Boseman didn’t need the heels because he’s 6 feet tall. This is a fascinating story of Brown’s contradictory behavior and many political and cultural issues of the era are covered. And it’s hard to resist dancing in the aisles!

Now that he’s engaged to La Toya Jackson, Jeffre Phillips is walking beside her instead of behind her. La Toya has known her business partner Jeffre for 15 years and she was surprised by his proposal in Hawaii in June, but it WAS just in time for her OWN reality series. We’re not sure if LaToya, 58, has the 17.5 karat engagement ring on here, but she did paint her nails neon yellow to match her outfit.

Guardians of the Galaxy Language Vin Diesel

NO COUNTRY SHOULD BE DENIED THE SOUND OF VIN DIESEL’S VOICE

We haven’t seen Guardians of the Galaxy (surprise, surprise) but we’ve heard that the tree-like character that Vin Diesel plays has only three words that he repeats over and over: “I am Groot.” Diesel’s deep distinctive voice is a major part of all the characters he plays, so the movie’s producers had him dub his OWN voice in several languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese , Russian, and French. That way international moviegoers will get the full Groot and Diesel experience.

Anne Hathaway Cake Robert DeNiro The Intern

CAN ANNE HATHAWAY HAVE HER CAKE AND EAT IT TOO? NOPE…

If Anne Hathaway is still wondering why so many people seem to hate her online, here’s a possible reason. Page Six revealed that while filming “The Intern” in New York with Robert DeNiro (photo above,) Anne was supposed to take a bite of chocolate cake for one scene. She’s fussy about what she eats and insisted on having gluten-free vegan cake for her scene. An assistant from the prop department was immediately dispatched to FIND suitable cake and rushed back to the set with it as soon as possible. If the story is accurate, it won’t do anything to improve Anne’s likeability.

New York Toilets

JUST ANOTHER DAY ON THE STREETS OF NEW YORK

Something peculiar happened in the Meatpacking District of New York today. Our photographer couldn’t figure out WHY, but people (actors we assume) were seen sitting on toilets with their pants down on the middle of a busy sidewalk. The people were dressed as taxi drivers, police officers, students, and shoppers, and since it was the middle of the afternoon, passers-by were very curious. Does anyone out there know what this is all about?
