Jessica Biel is wrapping up another work day on the LA set of “New Girl.” She’s making a special guest appearance on the first show of the fall season. Jessica plays a brilliant and beautiful scientist who competes heavily with Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess for the same guy at a wedding. Tune in September 16 to find out who wins.

It’s a new generation of Royals: King Felipe VI of Spain, 46, just ascended the throne last June. His pretty wife Queen Letizia, 41, looks like a model, but actually she worked as a news anchor before they wed. Their two little girls Leonor, 8, and Sofia, 7, look like the Princesses they actually are. The previous Spanish monarchy was not as popular as the new family.

This is probably the photo that started Kim Kardashian fretting and complaining about her (20 lb?) weight gain. She tried to camouflage her heft by wearing the long blue coat cinched at the waist over the pink pants and figured no one would take their eyes off her ridiculously distracting low neckline. Even the very high heels didn’t help. Hey Kim – tight clothes don’t necessarily make a person look slimmer. The fact that Kanye West considers her a fashion icon is amazing.

“The Hundred Foot Journey” is a heartwarming movie (the kind you’d expect from producers Oprah and Steven Spielberg) with gorgeous scenery in France. And food is prominently featured in a most provocative way. Helen Mirren plays the arrogant owner of a gourmet restaurant who is annoyed when an Indian restaurant opens noisily across the road. Her relationship with the new family is the basis of the plot. Handsome Manish Dayal plays the sensitive Indian chef and he is QUITE a discovery. Actually Manish is American and born in South Carolina and he is irresistible in a close-up. (Above he’s at the premier with his love interest in the movie, Charlotte Le Bon)
