BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AN UNFLATTERING PHOTO OF SOFIA VERGARA!

Take a good look- this is something you don’t see very often. It’s Sofia Vergera looking a mess in Crocs and raggedy sweat pants, a baggy grey t-shirt, questionable make-up, and straggly hair. Since she was shot on the Modern Family set, we’re guessing that this is NOT how she arrived at work. Perhaps her character is dressed for some kind of “down and out “episode.

BRAD PITT’S HAIR WAS ONCE AN OBJECT OF DESIRE

Brad Pitt can rest easy, knowing that one of his first important movies has been resurrected for Netflix. Tom DeCillo, the director of 1991’s Johnny Suede was appalled to learn that 50’s guitarist Link Wray’s music had been cut from the Netflix version of the movie in which Brad plays a clueless southern boy with a huge pompadour who aspires to be a rockabilly star. It’s a strange and aimless film – perhaps inspired by David Lynch and Jim Jarmusch, but ultimately entertaining. Anyway, the director got the music back in the movie and re-edited it to perfection for your – and Brangelina’s – Netflix enjoyment. (Above Nick Cave and Brad Pitt)

GUITARIST STEVE STEVENS AND WIFE JOSIE: STILL MARRIED TO ROCK

124053PCN_Steve05CUT

Remember Steve Stevens – that skinny guy with the black hair that played hot guitar behind Billy Idol? He and his wife Josie showed up at Chateau Marmont recently and we’re not sure we would have recognized him – he lost that gaunt rockstar look. Now 55, he’s been married to Josie for four years and they costarred on E!’s reality show Married to Rock, so now she calls herself a “TV personality.” They are QUITE a rockstar couple…

JARED LETO: YOUR POLITICAL COMMENTS ARE BEING NOTICED! – IN A GOOD WAY

AG038522_01jaredcut

Who knew that Jared Leto would turn out to be a hero in the Ukraine? This year at the Oscars, Jared gave a shout-out of encouragement to the Ukraine, which had just begun recovering from a violent revolution. LA Times entertainment reporter Steven Zeitchik visited the Ukraine recently and was surprised by how many people there wanted to talk about Jared Leto’s opinion of their political situation. His comments were noticed and very appreciated. And they REALLY liked him when his band did not cancel a concert in Kiev, like many others had. The reporter was frankly shocked to realize that so many Eastern Europeans valued celebrity opinions and even found them encouraging. Note to celebrities: THINK before you speak – or twitter.
