If you happen to like a good scare, as many people do, then you are undoubtedly a fan of Alfred Hitchcock. Nobody did psychological thrillers like he did in the fifty years he directed films. He particularly loved to jolt his audience with sudden shocking scenes. Above is a delicious video montage of intense scenes from Hitchcock movies that focus on the human EYE.
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria and baby Carmen spent a family day of shopping in Madrid. Hilaria is hard to miss in those shorts and high heels but so far Alec hasn’t had any run-ins with the local paparazzi. He’s in town to promote a Spanish comedy, “Torrente,” in which he has a starring role. Alec bought himself a suit and several shirts. Eventually they accumulated so many bags that Carmen had to vacate her stroller.

Steve Harvey isn’t a guy you’d expect to turn up in Paris for Fashion Week, but his wife Marjorie is very persuasive. Marjorie LOVES designer clothes and she attends the shows whenever possible. No wonder Steve has so many jobs! He’s crazy about his cute wife and wants to keep her happy. Both of them are looking good as they arrive with invitation in hand, for a runway show.

Halle Berry took her very excited little girl Nahla to the American Girl store at The Grove. She also treated herself to some items for home at Crate & Barrel. Halle is waiting to hear if her TV series “Extant” will be renewed for a second season, but it’s doubtful because the ratings were disappointing. Not to worry – she has several movies in the works. Nahla is starting to look more and more like her father Gabriel Aubry.

Where does the elegant dancer/designer Dita Von Teese celebrate her birthday? Maxim’s in Paris? Nope. Dita spent her birthday weekend in an Airstream trailer courtesy of Kate Pierson of the B-52’s! Kate happens to have an Airstream trailer park in the high desert in Landers, California, and all the trailers are decorated with mid century modern themes like “Tiki” or “Planet Air.” Rates are $200 per night. Dita and her friends rented several trailers and camped out in the beautiful desert for the weekend. Dita was reportedly fully made up and appropriately vintage attired the entire time.
Has anybody else noticed how much Amal Alamuddin has EVOLVED since she started dating George Clooney? She was always attractive, but never seemed terribly confident about her looks or obsessed with fashion. She was a busy, slightly frazzled lawyer. This wedding weekend she appeared in multiple fabulous outfits and always looked devastating. Now she’s a world class beauty. We suspect George has a team of experts that he brings in to prepare his women for special public appearances.

Louis CK, 46, thinks his kids are better off since he and their mother divorced. He says “If you divorce right, it’s a better life for the kids. And it motivated me to make a better life for myself so they’d have a good home when they come to my place.” Louis says he and his ex-wife get along nowadays because they’re not in a bad marriage anymore. The comic and his two daughters, Kitty and Mary, are often seen walking around New York together.

Antonio Sabato just changed into his dancing shoes outside the DWTS rehearsal studio. He usually wears a “wife beater” on hot days when he’s dancing. Has this slang term for an undershirt become politically incorrect? Marlon Brando’s character Stanley Kowalski in Streetcar Named Desire made this shirt famous and he was brutal, so maybe that’s where the term started.

Boy George is getting invitations to nice places again! Above, he was a guest at the Vivienne Westwood show during Fashion Week in Paris. He aptly describes himself as “the pink sheep of his working class Irish family.” He and his band Culture Club split 14 years ago, and after some drug meltdowns and jail time, George and the band are set to tour again. He’s ready – George has been sober since 2008.

In a last ditch attempt to upstage the models at the close of Fashion Week, the Kanye West family showed their solidarity by wearing all black again. Kim managed to keep a straight face in her sheer black lace lingerie outfit (designed by Kanye?) Either funniest or most tragic of all, little North wore a mini-version of her mom’s lingerie and didn’t look happy about it.
