BILLY IDOL IS AGING GRACEFULLY

Billy Idol is autographing his book “Dancing With Myself” at Book Soup on Sunset Strip this Saturday. During the late 80’s and 90’s, Billy had a house in the hills above Sunset that was party and drug central. It seems like every night he was on his motorcycle hitting a club or two on Sunset. More than twice he passed out cold from drugs and was presumed dead in parking lots there. Groupies, pharmaceuticals, and motorcycles – he survived them all. And he still looks amazing. Billy is 58 and he’s totally recognizable and still has that hair. Just a few added lines…

MARIAH CAREY COULD LEARN A FEW THINGS FROM JENNIFER LOPEZ

Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey have a lot in common right now. Both singers are 44 and both released unsuccessful albums this summer. Both split up with their men and both have been seen spending more time than ever with their twins. But while Mariah seems confused and tormented, Jennifer is taking action. She’s concentrating on the area where she’s found success – TV. Jennifer earned a lot of money on American Idol and she has a new series filming next year, Shades of Blue. Oscar winner Barry Levinson is directing the pilot in which Jen plays a single mother/ FBI undercover agent. (Above, she took her twins Max and Emme out to dinner at La Conversation.)

WENTWORTH MILLER IS NOW A BAD GUY

We really don’t want to see Wentworth Miller as a bad guy, but it’s better than not seeing him at all. Since Prison Break went off the air, the Princeton grad has been successfully writing movie scripts, and absent from our prying eyes and ears. It so happens he is returning to TV on CW’s The Flash, which premiers tonight. Wentworth’ As much as we try to avoid DC comic inspired shows, Wentworth is worth suffering for.

BILL MURRAY’S REVELATION ABOUT AMAL ALAMUDDIN

Bill Murray looks delighted with his own sartorial splendor at the NY premier of “St Vincent.” He’s getting great reviews for the comedy and we are eager to see it. This morning Bill was on the Today show talking about his experience at George Clooney’s wedding. He said that George and his bride Amal are a good match and that SHE is surprisingly funny. He cracked “Amal is the funniest Lebanese since Danny Thomas!”
