Paula Abdul has had her ups and downs, but it’s evident that she is currently enjoying an “up” in her personal life. She has NEVER looked better! Simon Cowell would faint. About a month ago a friend of ours saw Paula having brunch with an attractive date in Beverly Hills and remarked that she looked amazing. Last night she proved he was right when she appeared at The Music Center 50th Anniversary Spectacular looking flawless.

This is Charlotte Casiraghi competing in the “Style” round of the Gucci Masters in Paris. Her fashion theme is “urban fancy” and she’s wearing a baseball cap, gold chains and ghetto hoops, a hoodie, torn jeans, and glitter sneakers. Her horse is decorated with a dollar sign matching hers around his neck, a baseball cap, and graffiti. We didn’t realize horse shows had a sense of humor. Bruce Springsteen’s daughter Jessica rode in the same show with a Western style theme.

Anne Jeffreys has had an amazing career as a movie star, Broadway star, and TV star. She’s also unusual because she was married to the same man – actor Robert Sterling– from 1951 until he died in 2006. He was her costar on the Topper TV series. Last we heard she was living in Palm Springs and still shows up occasionally at parties and special events in Beverly Hills. She retains the unmistakable look of a classic movie star. Melissa McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone took their daughters Vivian, 7, and Georgette, 4, to a birthday party at a bowling alley on Saturday. The Mike & Molly star is still wearing black in spite of the fact the she lost around 40 pounds recently. Melissa wants to be healthy but she knows her weight is part of what makes her funny so she says her goal is not to be skinny, just comfortable. Or is that an excuse?
