JOHNNY DEPP: WHY THE RUSH TO GET MARRIED?

Why did Johnny Depp do an about face on the subject of marriage and marry Amber Heard in a quickie ceremony at his home yesterday? Keep in mind Johnny was never inclined to marry the mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis, in their 14 years together. He felt their love was enough and legal documents were not necessary. We’re thinking the 51 year old actor is not as confident as he used to be, and was afraid 26 year old Amber might lose interest. She does seem to have a mind of her own, and what Amber wants, Amber gets.

JOHN LEGEND WILL BE READY FOR THE NEXT RED CARPET AWARD SHOW

One of the fun things about living in Los Angeles is you never know who you’ll run into when doing ordinary errands. Who knew that John Legend (Golden Globe winner for Selma music) drops off his own dry cleaning? He has to keep those tuxedos fresh for the next award show. Don’t most celebrities have someone to do this FOR them? John’s wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen jokingly worries that her husband’s success might give him a swelled head, so maybe she sent him out with a list of errands to do.

RITA ORA IN FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK

British singer Rita Ora is slipping through LAX doing her best imitation of Diane Keaton from the hat down. Rita’s acting career is opening up – she and Jennifer Hudson just signed to guest star on the hip hop drama Empire. And Rita plays Christian’s sister Mia in “Fifty Shades of Grey.” It’s funny how she got that role. Rita approached producers, hoping to contribute a song to the movie, and they insisted she audition and gave her the acting job!

Daughter Hair! Preppy Reese Witherspoon

REESE WITHERSPOON’S DAUGHTER IS NO LONGER HER MINI-ME

LOVE this photo of Reese Witherspoon and her fifteen year old daughter Ava. Apparently Ava has no intention of being described as her mother’s “mini-me” any longer. When she was younger they dressed and looked alike, but Ava has declared her independence. While her mom wears a pleated skirt and preppy v neck sweater with her blonde pony tail, Ava is sporting combat boots, jeans and a sheer plaid shirt. PLUS bright pink hair! One thing they still have in common: they both love Bubble (Boba) Tea!
