Janet Jackson turned up at LAX today to catch a flight and she had two bodyguards guarding her every step of the way. Strangely, her husband Wissam Al Mana kept a considerable distance and slipped through the airport almost unnoticed. Janet looks better than she did last time we saw her – at least we can see her face and hair. She’s rarely been seen since she got married two years ago, but apparently she missed the spotlight and now has a major tour starting in late August. She certainly doesn’t need the money.

According to US Weekly, Charlize Theron broke off her engagement to Sean Penn after two years of togetherness. Recently they had both opened up and started saying sweet things about each other in interviews. We figured it would only be a matter of time before Sean’s bad temper would do him in. His two ex-wives were charmed by him at first, but suffered through his bitter macho moods, and we feared Charlize would endure the same fate. But our girl wised up just in time! Charlize may be feeling sad now, but in the long run she and her little boy are better off without Sean.
