AMANDA BYNES KNOWS WHAT A GIRL WANTS


Amanda Bynes IS looking pretty great and healthy these days. Can you believe she’s 30 already? Her treatment for bipolar/manic depression is ongoing and evidently successful. The former child star is taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and aims for a career in fashion and eventually, her own line. She still has her obsession with hair extensions and we can live with that, but her long pointy nails – not so much.

GO-GO’S: THEY’VE STILL GOT THE BEAT!

38 years after they debuted, The Go-Go’s (Belinda Carlyle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, and Gina Schock) are on their farewell tour and first stop was at the Jimmy Kimmel show. Don’t underestimate this pop group – they are the MOST successful female rock band OF ALL TIME and they were the FIRST to write their own songs and play their own instruments! Jane Wiedlin recently lamented that it’s a shame that no current girl bands have taken their crown – female bands are hard to find these days. Jane also thinks female singers are “hypersexualized” and rarely write their own music or play instruments.
