JENNIFER LOPEZ TREATS HER MOM TO A SHOPPING SPREE ON RODEO DRIVE
Jennifer Lopez took her mom Guadalupe Rodriguez Christmas shopping at Barneys in Beverly Hills and then to Rodeo Drive. Jennifer and Guadalupe are very close – Jen can even joke about her mother’s passion for gambling. (When Jennifer was dating Ben Affleck, he and Guadalupe had a great time gambling together.) A few years ago Guadalupe actually won 2.4 million playing the slots in Atlantic City. We can’t help but wonder how much she’s LOST over the years. It helps to have a wealthy daughter.

JACLYN SMITH: THREE GENERATIONS OF ANGELS
Can you IMAGINE having a grandmother that looks like Jaclyn Smith? The former Charlie’s Angels star turned Kmart designer’s daughter Spencer Richmond had a baby girl named Bea in September and the threesome went Christmas shopping in Beverly Hills today. Last year Spencer, 31, and Jaclyn, 71, were the faces of the Kmart collection together. In 2015, Spencer married Yale educated actor/director Fran Kranz. Lucky baby is genetically blessed.

RIHANNA HAS MORE FUN WITH FASHION THAN MOST PEOPLE
Diane Keaton would be green with envy if she saw Rihanna in this gigantic red cowboy belt! Diane almost always wears a huge belt of her own, but it’s less extreme. You certainly cannot accuse Rihanna of taking herself too seriously or not having a sense of humor! How many young women do you know who would be bold enough to wear this just for fun? Gotta love her…

SOMEDAY YOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN MIGHT BE “PASSENGERS”
Anyone out there who loves science fiction – and we DON’T mean the kind where spaceships chase each other around causing explosions or guys fight with ray guns – is going to love Passengers. This is the GOOD kind of science fiction depicting people living in the future – and travel, in particular. It takes place on an enormous ultramodern space ship loaded with fantastic inventions. Humans are faced with a moral dilemma. Don’t research this movie in advance – it will spoil the surprise. Just see it!
FRAN DRESCHER NEVER LACKS FOR COMPANY
Fran Drescher looks quite happy, walking out of Barneys in Beverly Hills with a new man. The Nanny star was married to Shiva Ayyadurai, who describes himself as a scientist/entrepreneur, for two years before splitting in September. Her husband claimed to be the inventor of email, a claim that was contested by some, among them the Gawker site. Shiva sued Gawker, but it was AFTER Hulk Hogan won his suit against the site and bankrupted them, so it made no sense. Anyway, Fran is on the prowl again and seems to be doing all right.

JUSTIN BIEBER AT HIS CREEPIEST
We thought Justin Bieber looked awful in his summer apparel (baseball cap, baggy shorts) but his winter look is equally offensive. The only good thing about his get-up is the white shirt. Those tacky overprocessed painted jeans look like they came from the clearance rack at Forever 21 – and they might have, because Justin often buys women’s jeans. But the puffy fur jacket with the hood just makes you wonder how many animals were killed to make Justin happy. And, of course, he’s in LA where the temperature rarely goes below 60 degrees.

BRITNEY SPEARS PICKED A WINNER THIS TIME
Britney Spears is following in the footsteps of Tom Cruise and Lady Gaga by AUDITIONING for boyfriends! She examined photos and interviewed all the guys who appealed to her for her saucy latest video Slumber Party. One voluptuous guy stood out from the pack – Sam Asghari, a personal trainer born in Iran, who also works as a model and actor. Britney was immediately attracted to the bodybuilder and hired him to play her love interest. Since filming the video they have been seen together at least three times and she couldn’t look happier. Her taste in men is improving…
THIS DUCK BUILT A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY
Every time we see the Aflac duck commercial we fall in love all over again. Sometimes his adventures are a little jarring and we worry about his safety. We also think longingly about getting a duck of our own, but it just isn’t practical. The duck’s successful ad campaign has put an unknown insurance company ON THE MAP and won many advertising awards in the process. At one time Gilbert Gottfried was the duck’s voice, but he tweeted some unfortunate remarks about Japan after their 2011 earthquake, and got himself fired. (Japan is a huge market for the company.) We are told the duck is now an “international icon” and suitably pampered. Above, our favorite duck appeared at an Aflac holiday charity event.

VINCE VAUGHN’S WILD RIDE
Vince Vaughn looks like such a happy dad here. He’s on the Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland with his daughter Locklyn,6, (in white) and her friend. He also has a son Vernon, 3, who’s too small for the ride. Vince plays a stern army officer in Hacksaw Ridge and his hair is barely grown back from having a bald head for Brawl in Cell Block 99 in which he plays a desperate drug dealer. He can use a good laugh.
