MEET BERLIN’S ODD COUPLE: EVA & ADELE

If you went to Art Basel in Miami you might have run into this odd pair of performance artists who call themselves Eva and Adele. They claim to be hermaphrodite twins from the future who landed their time machine in Berlin in 1989. (No one seems to know their real names or ages.) Eva, the taller one, was born a man and had her birth certificate changed to female. They dress alike (and extravagantly) every day with similar makeup and shaved heads. It’s not easy maintaining their image – it takes them 3 hours to get ready every day and they are never seen unless dressed to the nines. They try to attend as many art events as possible and sell their own creations.

PARIS JACKSON THINKS SHE’S BLACK BECAUSE HER FATHER TOLD HER SHE IS

We’re flabbergasted! NOW we know why Paris Jackson’s boyfriend thinks he’s DATING A BLACK GIRL! It’s because Paris TOLD him she’s black! (Lack of education is even more of an issue with the Jacksons than we realized.) Paris, 18, told Rolling Stone that she considers herself black – because her father Michael Jackson TOLD HER she is! Michael encouraged her to be proud of her roots! Paris reasons “Why would my father lie to me? To my knowledge he never lied to me before!” She honestly believes that Michael is her biological father – not Dr Arnold Klein. Now we’re DYING to know what her older brother Prince Jackson, who is currently in college, has to say about this.

WHAT DO JEFF GOLDBLUM AND WARREN BEATTY HAVE IN COMMON?

Jeff Goldblum, 64, is just a little bit like Warren Beatty. As soon as he achieved some success in Hollywood the lanky actor started dating every attractive girl that caught his eye. He briefly married two leading ladies (including his costar in The Fly, Geena Davis) and in 2014 he actually settled down. Late in life the former Casanova married a gymnast, Emilie Livingston, and she gave birth to a son. The once happy bachelor/playboy took to fatherhood with such gusto that now they’re expecting a second son!

LIFETIME’S “BRITNEY EVER AFTER” – WATCH OUT – SAM LUFTI WILL BE WATCHING!

Britney Spears fans are NOT happy about the casting for Lifetime’s TV movie “Britney Ever After” – they gripe that the actors don’t look like their real life counterparts. They’re right, but that won’t stop Brit’s fans from watching. One thing the movie producers DO have to watch out for is Sam Lufti. You might remember he is the questionable guy who oozed himself into Britney’s life when she was so vulnerable and declared himself her “manager.” Lufti has a history of restraining orders, lawsuits, and temperamental outbursts. He sued Britney’s family for “slander” – they called him a low-life drug dealer – and he collected SIX figures in a settlement. Lufti went on to insert himself into the lives of Amanda Bynes and Courtney Love – but those are other stories. If he doesn’t like how he’s portrayed in this TV movie (and there’s no WAY it could be flattering) producers and Lifetime will be hearing from his lawyer!

Downtown Prank

A PLACE FOR PRANKSTERS

This weekend a fun new bar/restaurant called Prank (as in “escapade”) opened on Hope St in downtown LA and we were delighted to learn that one of the owners was an old friend, Tony Frere. The place is two stories with walls of glass on a corner so the view both in and out is expansive. Drinks are big and we were delighted to see delicious cauliflower on the bar menu. It’s a lively place so the vintage phone booth comes in handy when making that private call. Rumor has it another old friend Joey Arias might be performing there in February, if things work out.

WOMENS RIGHTS ARE NO BIG DEAL TO THE KARDASHIANS

Shame, shame, shame on the Kardashians and Jenners for not sending a SINGLE family member to take part in the Women’s March. Too busy taking selfies? Keep in mind the Kardashian-Jenner family made their fortune because teen girls watched their TV shows. The Kardashians taught these young female fans to slather on their makeup and take off their clothes to attract men. (Advanced education is a no-no subject in their house.) Granted it would have been difficult to march in five inch stilettos along with a beauty squad and MALE bodyguards. While we’re on the subject, we have to point out that Madonna may have had good intentions, but she made a huge mistake in trying to out trash-talk Donald Trump. She sounded like an ignorant guy with a pickup truck and a gun in the glove compartment. For some reason Madonna thinks its cool to act like a man. She needs to take lessons from Gloria Steinem. Gloria knows that women are superior and gives truly motivating speeches. And they’re not all about HER.

OLIVIER MARTINEZ AND MACEO CAN’T WAIT FOR LUNCH

Hungry little Maceo Martinez is attacking that baguette with considerable gusto while his father Olivier rolls the grocery cart out of Bristol Farms. Olivier is from Paris and likes to retain his French habits to so he picks up a fresh baguette nearly every day. Olivier would probably rather BE in Paris because most of his friends and work are there, but he doesn’t want to leave his son Maceo (with Halle Berry) in Los Angeles. Too far away. Meanwhile, Maceo is picking up French habits and words from his dad.

IT IS UNUSUAL: TOM JONES AND PRISCILLA PRESLEY HAVE A LONG DINNER DATE

Here’s an amusing surprise – Priscilla Presley and Tom Jones turned up for a dinner date at Craig’s restaurant last night! And they were there for FIVE hours! Keep in mind Craig’s food is not that great – in fact, it’s expensive but generally disappointing. But the place is pleasant and diners are guaranteed lots of attention from the ever-present paparazzi and fans outside. Priscilla and Tom have been acquainted since he and Elvis became friends in Las Vegas in the 70’s. (Although there WAS some rivalry in those days!) Both Priscilla and Tom are single – or is this a business move of some sort? Time will tell… They left together in Tom’s Rolls Royce.

CAITLYN JENNER TO DONALD TRUMP: SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME!

Caitlyn Jenner, 66, packed up her party dresses and left early today to attend a pre-inauguration dinner in Washington. No surprise- she has always been a staunch Republican and someone has invited her to Trump’s inauguration Friday. It’s rumored that Donald Trump has been encouraged to dance with Caitlyn during the evening’s festivities to ease tension with the LGBT crowd. (What a photo THAT would be!) Jenner is considered something of a traitor for supporting Trump – he’s been unsympathetic to LGBT rights. We think the chances of this dance happening are slim to none….

KANYE WEST TO RICK OWENS: IMITATION IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY!

Fashionistas can always count on designer Rick Owens to show them a good time at his runway presentations. This visually creative but somewhat unwearable-in-real-life outfit is from Owens’ fall 2017 menswear collection. (He also makes some very cool and more wearable stuff.) We happen to be longtime fans of Rick Owens designs – he started out with a small shop in Hollywood. Kanye West is also a huge fan – in fact we notice that Kanye’s fashion collection has more than a coincidental resemblance to Rick’s designs! Yes, we are accusing Kanye West of knocking off Rick Owens’ ideas! Next time Kanye introduces a new seasonal collection – compare it to past designs by Owens and you’ll see what we mean.
