JOHN TRAVOLTA: FROM SCIENTOLOGY KINGPIN TO MAFIA DON

Against all odds, that John Gotti movie about gangster father and son, that’s been talked about for SO MANY years is actually being made! The new title is The Life and Death of John Gotti. And it’s a family affair – John Travolta is starring as the flamboyant mobster, his wife Kelly Preston is playing his movie wife Victoria Gotti, and their daughter Ella Bleu, 16, is playing the Gotti’s daughter Angel. Sounds weird, but back in 2011, Lindsay Lohan ALMOST had the role of Victoria and Ben Foster was asked to play John Gotti Jr! After years of script, director, and money problems, the film is full steam ahead – shooting in Manhattan. (Entourage’s Kevin Connolly is directing!) Travolta IS getting into character (above) and we love his new hair – he should keep it that way. We can’t help thinking about the similarities between Scientology and the Mafia….

Lisa Marie Presley Priscilla Presley Twins

PRISCILLA PRESLEY HAS DEFINITELY GOT HER TWIN GRANDDAUGHTERS

Priscilla Presley was embarrassed by that story circulating that her two granddaughters were in foster care while their parents are embroiled in divorce. The girls’ mother Lisa Marie, is supposedly in rehab and their father Michael Lockwood has been accused of having “inappropriate” photos of children on his computer. While they fight it out, Priscilla took custody. She brought the twins Finley and Harper to a hair salon in Beverly Hills – as if she WANTED to be seen. So far, Scientology doesn’t seem to be involved in this messy situation – Tony Ortega says Priscilla left Scientology on the down-low when her daughter Lisa Marie quit. After all, the whole family has to leave at once.

Christina El Moussa Divorce Flip Or Flop Tarek El Moussa

CHRISTINA EL MOUSSA IS READY FOR HER CLOSE-UP

Christina El Moussa has made up her mind that NOTHING is going to stop her career from going forward and she intends to continue working with her estranged husband Tarek – come what may. Their HGTV series “Flip or Flop” is a big success and it’s opened a lot of doors financially for the former couple (including real estate seminars.) Behind the scenes, Tarek has had miserable health problems to deal with – thyroid cancer, testicular cancer, and back surgery. Christina had a miscarriage and two babies to care for. As the marriage dissolved, their show was in jeopardy. Both came to their senses and are determined to carry on with the series. Their split might even increase ratings! She recently stopped dating that contractor Gary Anderson and Christina is on to bigger and better things. But why she’s dressed like this on a cold winter day in New York makes one wonder…

KENDALL JENNER FLASHES HER GOLD TOOTH

She doesn’t have a rapper boyfriend yet, but Kendall Jenner is picking up fashion ideas from the genre. Seems like only yesterday that Madonna was flashing a gold tooth and observers were appalled. Years ago, you could buy them on 42nd street. The first time we saw – and were fascinated – by gold teeth was when we saw the late great Willy DeVille on SNL. Somehow it works better on men, but it is a fun fashion device.

David Cassidy Dementia

DAVID CASSIDY JUST MADE EVERYONE FEEL OLDER

Now this has to be the SADDEST explanation for a bad performance that we have ever heard. Partridge Family star David Cassidy, 66, slurred, forgot lyrics, and nearly fell off the stage at a recent concert in Miami. Since the former teen idol has had substance abuse and several DUI problems in the past, we assumed he was boozing it up again. But now he says he’s been diagnosed with early stage dementia and plans to retire. He said the condition runs in his family and he watched his mother suffer from it. And here we thought he was just having too much fun – he might have been self-medicating all along. In the past few years his wife divorced him AND he declared bankruptcy.

PARIS HILTON GOT A BOYFRIEND WITH A JOB!

Paris Hilton arrived at LAX holding hands with her new guy, actor Chris Zylka. Paris just celebrated her 36 birthday at a big party in NYC with Chris, who’s only five years younger. He’s definitely her type – tall and model-ish looking, AND he’s a series regular on The Leftovers. Even her little dog looks happy. Paris should be warned, however, that Chris caught his last girlfriend cheating and he let her have it on Twitter. It wasn’t pretty.

MARIAH CAREY IS TOO IMPORTANT TO FASTEN HER OWN SHOES

Mariah Carey seems to be the only one really showing off in Hollywood lately and it’s surprising because she used to be so private. But having a reality show AND being jilted by a billionaire CAN make one more outgoing and self-aggrandizing. Mariah stopped by the Kardashians favorite Epione clinic (we predict bigger lips in her future) and afterward went shopping in Beverly Hills. In the course of the day she changed clothes THREE times so one might assume there were cameras on her. She continued her act of calculated narcissism into an expensive shoe salon where she REFUSED TO LIFT A FINGER. While she sipped wine, AN EMPLOYEE KNELT AND FASTENED THE SHOES she was interested in on her feet. Maybe her velvet biker jacket was so tight she couldn’t lean over…

MARIAH CAREY AND HER STORYLINE BOYFRIEND

Nick Cannon has nothing BAD to say about his ex-wife Mariah Carey – in fact he told Howard Stern “I’ll never stop loving her!” BUT he doesn’t hesitate to poke fun at her reality show. He says the whole thing is scripted and contrived – it has nothing to do with Mariah’s REAL life. Those “private conversations” on the show are too well lit!” He goes on to speculate that Mariah’s new boyfriend Bryan Tanaka is “just a storyline” – implying that Mariah is “saving face” after her fiancée jilted her.

Lil' Kim Plastic Surgery

LIL’ KIM IS NOW A WHITE GIRL!

The 4’11” rapper was escorted to a front row seat at the Marc Jacobs Fashion Week show by Marc’s own boyfriend. Every time we see the petite “Queen of Hip Hop” her looks seem to have evolved thanks to cosmetic surgery etc. Kim will only admit to having several nose jobs and she claims it was necessary because a boyfriend “punched” her. We do know she had liposuction frequently back in the 90’s before the procedure fell out of favor. Her skin is certainly a few shades lighter and somehow along the way Kim’s eyes changed to an almond shape. Indeed, she is quite probably a plastic surgery addict.
