Anthony Anderson, who produces and stars on Black-ish with Tracee Ellis Ross, took his two kids Kyra and Nathan shopping in Beverly Hills on Thanksgiving weekend. And he has a cute way of showing his own gratitude: his tee shirt says “I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams.”

She was a first time mother when she adopted Jackson, now 5, and it must have been surprising to Charlize Theron when Jackson gradually became very opinionated about what he wanted to wear. Early on, he decided his favorite color is PINK and he hasn’t deviated. His favorite outfit is a pink tutu and now that the Therons are on vacation in Cabo, Jackson has a pink sundress and hair extensions.

It happens every year. Assorted celebrities volunteer to work at the mission in downtown LA, and serve food to the homeless at Thanksgiving. This year they started serving a day early. We always wonder if the celebrities would show up if there were NO cameras. This year Diedre Hall, Camryn Manheim, Nick Cannon, and Maureen McCormick dished out hot food for the homeless and the paparazzi. Certainly they DO add a level of playfulness to the proceedings, regardless of motivation…

This is the best news we’ve heard all day. According to the Hollywood Reporter, those fancy offices on the Warner Bros. lot aren’t ALL that former Wonder Woman producer Brett Ratner, 48, has lost due to his sexual misconduct with women. He’s suddenly found that he isn’t welcome in some places WHERE WOMEN ARE IN CHARGE! Case in point: The Sally Hershberger Hair Salon in West Hollywood. (Sally is responsible for Meg Ryan’s famous ‘do and she gets $600 for a haircut.) Until recently Brett was a steady customer at the luxury salon, but he’s been told he is no longer welcome there! We love Sally for that.

Christmas might not be quite as bad as it could be for Billy Bush this time around. He lost his lucrative job on NBC’s Today Show last year, due to his infamous taped conversation with Donald Trump. In September he and his wife Sydney separated, and he seemed to be jobless and at rock bottom. But he’s been seen with his estranged wife several times this week – and they just dined at the Grove with two of their daughters- so all is not lost.

Since even Russell Simmons (who seems so civilized) has been accused of sexual impropriety, you can bet plenty of men in Hollywood are shaking in fear of their own pasts. Jay Z made a gallant effort to separate himself from “those guys” during his concert Sunday in Cleveland. He noticed an excited looking little girl close to the stage and he told her “You could be President some day!” The crowd cheered and she jumped up and down. Jay Z continued “At this moment, America is more sexist than racist!” instantly endearing himself to the females in the crowd. Jay Z knows he has a good life with his wife Beyonce, (who earned 105 million this year) and doesn’t want ANYTHING to mess it up.

We don’t get to see Barron Trump very often but it looks like he’s grown about six inches in the past year! His mother Melania Trump is around 5’10” and his father is 6’2”, but Barron looks to be around six feet tall at the age of 11! He’s actually quite nice looking despite the fact that he did inherit his father’s lower face. Barron rarely takes part in White House events like the Obama girls did, but he joined Melania for the official Christmas tree delivery. Ho hum. He doesn’t look very excited about it, however.

BEST DRESSED: Hands down, Selena Gomez was voted Best Dressed at the American Music Awards the minute she set foot on the red carpet. Not only is she dressed appropriately for the occasion – young, rock n roll, sexy, but not TOO sexy, with brand new blonde hair, but she didn’t look like she was trying TOO hard. And everyone was happy to see her looking as beautiful and healthy as ever after her liver transplant.
WORST DRESSED: We like Kelly Clarkson far too much to let her stylist get sway with THIS! Kelly is beloved for her natural, wholesome good looks- and this look at the AMA’s couldn’t be more artificial. (Talk about trying TOO hard!) That heavy makeup (black lipstick?) matronly too-fancy gown, and droopy extensions make her look like a cross between a 1980’s country singer and a Goth opera singer. That’s NOT our sweet Kelly. Did you know she has a ranch in Texas for unwanted (blind, crippled etc) animals? We rest our case.

When Sally Field, 71, is in New York she doesn’t really expect any paparazzi to spot her shopping at Whole Foods so she doesn’t think much about dressing up. One eagle-eyed photographer snapped her returning from the supermarket, but she seemed oblivious. Sally always seems to be working- she’s currently appearing on the Netflix dark comedy series, Maniac, with Jonah Hill and Emma Stone.
