THE SARAH JESSICA PARKER/KIM CATTRALL FEUD IS ALL ABOUT MONEY

Okay, let’s clarify this whole Sarah Jessica Parker –Kim Cattrall feud- it’s about MONEY. Jason Lewis played Samantha’s boyfriend on the series and he admitted HE’s siding with SJP. He raves about how he adored and appreciated Sarah’s kindness on the show but held back at saying ANYTHING nice about Kim Cattrall. WE have never met anyone who didn’t love Sarah and our personal experience with her has always been delightful. Here’s what destroyed Sarah and Kim’s friendship: Sarah was the star of the series and producer and undoubtedly paid more, but Kim’s character really caught on – especially with gay men who identified with her playful promiscuity and sexual openness. Kim KNEW her character was popular – she had tons of fans – and expected more money. Apparently she was never paid what she thought she was worth and resentment grew. When Kim turned down the third Sex & the City movie despite the good script, she knew she was denying her costars and crew money and jobs they might need. Not nice. We wish they’d recast Samantha.

JOHN LEGEND AND CHRISSY TEIGEN BEHAVING UNNATURALLY

This photo stopped us in our tracks because it seems so abnormal. John Legend is currently working on Jesus Christ Superstar in New York and pregnant Chrissy Teigen and their daughter Luna are keeping him company on a break. They took Luna to a small city park where THEY SAT ON THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK and watched Luna on the swing. Who does that? In NEW YORK! And Chrissy is wearing thin tights. What’s wrong with this picture?

Fashion Week Kaia Gerber Milan

KAIA GERBER IS ALREADY A BIG MONEY-MAKER

Kaia Gerber, 16, already looks like an old pro as she is escorted into the Alberta Ferretti show at Fashion Week in in Milan. Last year her mother Cindy Crawford did the Milan shows with her, but this year she’s on her own. Almost alone – she arrived in Milan with a friend. Kaia was such a hit on all the runways last year that she’s been invited back to do a lot of shows. With print jobs and so many Fashion Weeks in so many cities, she’s earning quite a bit of money for a high school Junior. Hopefully she won’t be too distracted to go to college…

QUEEN ELIZABETH AND ANNA WINTOUR AGREE ON ONE THING

Here’s someone we never thought we’d see sitting in the front row at London Fashion Week! Queen Elizabeth got all dolled up for her foray into the fashion world. Actually she made a speech about the importance of new young designer talent and the economy. We can only IMAGINE the competition to sit next to the Queen. Anna Wintour may have pulled some strings. We wonder what they talked about…they have something in common – they both found a hairstyle they like and stick to it!

Eddie Murphy Paige Butcher

EDDIE MURPHY AND FRIENDS WANT TO BE PART OF BLACK PANTHER 2

Usually we only see photos of Eddie Murphy, 57, and his Australian girlfriend Paige Butcher, 38, getting coffee somewhere, but this week he took her out for a really fun evening. Paige and Eddie now have a two year old daughter named Izzy but there were no kids at this “comedy dinner” at Mastro’s Steakhouse. Eddie joined his friends Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Usher, Kevin Hart, plus others for a highly entertaining meal. Later Chris said that Eddie was the funniest – and the group spent a lot of time figuring out how they can get into Black Panther 2.

HELENA BONHAM CARTER KNOWS HOW TO HAVE FUN ON A RED CARPET

You can always count on Helena Bonham Carter to liven up a stuffy red carpet event. We met her on the red carpet at the Oscars back in the 90’s and immediately loved her – she was wearing an outrageous Vivienne Westwood dress and stuck out like a sore thumb among the couture gowns. Versatile Helena is most famous for playing turn of the century women in corsets, but did you know she also appeared on Miami Vice as Don Johnson’s girlfriend? Helena, 51, wore black to the BAFTA awards for the #Me Too movement (Looks like Westwood) but she couldn’t resist that sassy handbag. Watch for her next in the female version of Oceans Eleven, and Netflix’s The Crown.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE DIDN’T HAVE A GOOD YEAR

We’re not sure if Jennifer Lawrence, 27, is still the highest paid actress in the world, but she’s taking a lot of flak because her recent movies haven’t made much money. We think her ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, 49, derailed her career when she starred in his disturbing film Mother. (We appreciated the moral dilemma in her movie Passengers, and can’t figure out why it wasn’t a hit. It was a sci-fi movie aimed at women, but they were not made aware of it with good marketing.) In her new spy thriller Red Sparrow, Jennifer plays a Russian woman and we’ll see how that accent goes…

Here’s a sight we never thought we’d see: Russell Brand carrying his own rosy-cheeked baby girl named Mabel. What would Katy Perry think? (Russell and Katy were married for two years before things fell apart.) Brand loves attention- he enjoyed his reputation as a “bad boy” thanks to his numerous drug related arrests and promiscuity. Now he considers himself a political activist, fixated on “wealth inequality.” He moved from LA back to the UK and married twelve-years-younger Scottish lifestyle blogger Laura Gallacher last year, and now he seems a bit less narcissistic. Lucky Mabel resembles her mom.

COURTNEY COX IS HAPPY THAT SHE TOOK JENNIFER ANISTON’S ADVICE

It’s ironic that Jennifer Aniston talked her friend Courteney Cox and her boyfriend Johnny McDaid into getting back together. Johnny, 41, lives and works as a musician in the UK, and he’s not fond of California. Courteney, 53, LOVES Los Angeles and didn’t want to move to the UK, so she called off their engagement in 2015. Jen urged Courteney to try spending more time in London with Johnny and their long distance relationship has been flourishing. Jennifer’s collapsing marriage to Justin Theroux had a similar geography problem – he loves NY and she loves LA.
