Fashion Kevin Smith Weight Watchers

KEVIN SMITH IS NO LONGER BIG – HE NEVER WAS TALL!

We’re the first to admit that we love to pick on Chasing Amy director Kevin Smith, 47, because he’s a grown man who dresses like a child. For some reason he thought it was endearing for a mature man to wear an athletic jersey, huge shorts, and a baseball cap for ALL occasions. Little did we know that his February heart attack would change his point of view. Docs told him to lose 50 pounds and he made a deal with Weight Watchers. Smith posted this photo of his delighted self at the Big & Tall men’s store where he went to buy jeans and was told they didn’t stock his new smaller size! Now that he can shop at regular stores, we hope his fashion sense will evolve. And if he ever takes off that goofy baseball cap we might find out he actually has hair!

Catfish MTV Nev Schulman Sexual Misconduct

THANKS MTV – FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING WITH NEV SCHULMAN

It’s gratifying to see how intelligently MTV handled the misconduct allegations against Catfish host Nev Schulman. They put Catfish production on hold and HIRED AN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATOR to scrutinize the charges made by a woman who appeared on the show. She alleged that Schulman pressured her to have sex with him. Schulman denied the allegations and pointed out that coworkers present at that time would back him up. Investigators found the charges to be without merit, and Catfush resumed production. We’re happy to see that no one was instantly fired nor were shows abruptly canceled until charges were thoroughly examined. It’s a shame that some ex-girlfriends, wannabe girlfriends or just bad dates drop bombshell charges without merit against guys for some kind of revenge. The #MeToo movement is way too important for this kind of frivolity.

Bow Wow Fashion Rap

BOW WOW: THIS IS WHAT A RAPPER LOOKS LIKE TODAY

All we know is…rap has come a looooong way fashion-wise. Back in the early 90’s, no self-respecting rapper would have been caught dead dressed like a Beach Boy. It was Gangsta all the way. But Bow Wow, performing at the Flamingo Hotel pool in Las Vegas, looks really cute in his Hawaiian shirt, cut-off jean shorts, and white sneakers. But the facial scowl is still there…

IS “THE HUMAN KEN DOLL” MORPHNG INTO BARBIE?

We keep trying, but we cannot keep our eyes off of Rodrigo Alves, the guy with more money than common sense, who aspires to look like a human Ken Doll. Rodrigo was seen rollerblading in Marbella, Spain wearing a waist trainer-cincher with his shorts. This, combined with his hairless anatomically augmented body, makes him look other-worldly. Rodrigo spends a fortune on plastic surgery to look like his idea of the perfect man (Barbie’s boyfriend Ken) but it appears he’s crossing the line and more closely resembling Barbie herself…

Justin Bieber has become the poster boy for his hipster church and he’s used to attract more young celebrities, according to an investigation by Toofab.com. And Justin prefers to DATE other Hillsong church members – above, he’s with Hailey Baldwin – his ex Selena Gomez is also a church member. Former members say the church has surprisingly conservative values that are decidedly sexist and homophobic. Other famous members include Vanessa Hudgens, Chris Pratt and Austin Butler.

FAST TRACK LOVERS ARIANA GRANDE AND PETE DAVIDSON SETTLED INTO THE ALL-TIME COOLEST LOVE NEST

How totally unexpected was the idea of SNL’s goofy guy Pete Davidson and pampered princess Ariana Grande getting together? (actually we have more respect for Ariana now!) HE was dating the brainy daughter of Larry David and SHE was dating substance abusing rapper Mac Miller, but they both abruptly broke off their relationships to grab each other. AND they are engaged a MONTH later! As if that weren’t enough, they moved in together – into an architecturally sensational to-die-for luxury building designed Zaha Hadid! ENVY! We’re betting they RENT the 16 million dollar, 4000 sq ft apartment – but WHAT NEXT?

Hair Replacement Hair! Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood

CAN THIS POSSIBLY BE RONNIE WOOD’S REAL HAIR?

How is it possible for a 71 year old man to have the full head of hair an 18 year old? We can find no evidence that Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has had any hair augmentation! Last year Ronnie went in for his usual check-up before commencing the 2017 European tour with the Stones, and the doctor found a malignant lesion on his lung. Ronnie had a five hour surgery to remove the cancer but refused chemotherapy because he didn’t want to lose his hair! He smoked for over fifty years, but the lucky musician is so far cancer free and he’s the first to admit “I shouldn’t be here!” But he is. Ronnie is currently performing in the UK on the Stones current World Tour.

EG DAILY’S VOICE ALWAYS HAS A JOB

Remember EG Daily from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and Valley girl? We haven’t seen her for awhile, but she’s still adorable. EG is a very successful voice-over performer – she keeps busy doing loads of animated features like Rugrats, Powderpuff Girls, etc,- not to mention video games. She was spotted at a farmer’s market this week with her lookalike daughter Tyson, 19, – Tyson’s father is poker player Rick Salomon, who was also married to Pamela Anderson!

Killing Eve Sandra Oh

KILLING EVE IS THE SERIES YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

We are SO not surprised that the BBC America production Killing Eve is getting so many award nominations – it’s our favorite series this season and it’s all about women! Sandra Oh (love her) and Jodie Comer’s characters are so unexpected and brilliantly drawn that we were hooked after the second episode. It’s SO good that we keep putting off watching the finale because we don’t want it to end! (Luckily it’s renewed for another season) Do yourself a favor and watch this series before you read too much about it…

James Packer Mariah Carey

EAT YOUR HEART OUT MARIAH – OR MAYBE NOT…

Oh dear. It’s Mariah Carey’s uber-wealthy former fiancée James Packer and his new girlfriend Kylie Lim boarding a luxury yacht in St Tropez. On one hand, Kylie is awfully young and pretty. On the OTHER hand, James looks like he’s gained a hundred pounds! When he and Mariah split in 2016, the 6’6” Packer was considerably trimmer. Eating his heart out? Probably not. Actually, James checked himself into a $5000 a night mental health facility in Boston in March and he recently got out. We’re guessing the food was pretty good there…
