Character Dr Drew Pinsky Empire Jussie Smollett

JUSSIE SMOLLETT DUG HIS OWN GRAVE

Dr Drew summed up the whole unfortunate and dismal Jussie Smollett situation with one word. The celebrity doctor pointed out that Jussie has not been admitted to a mental hospital or rehab (defense lawyers encourage that in hopes of a less harsh sentence) therefore Dr Drew asserts that’s it’s not a mental health situation – it’s a CHARACTER issue. Which is worse, of course, because it means Jussie is a manipulative and self-serving person – wholly unsympathetic. On the upside, this situation has taught all of us not to jump to conclusions. Funny, we just heard is that Jussie is suddenly claiming he has an untreated drug problem… Dr Drew was right on target.

She’s been wearing the same cute spikey short haircut for decades and with this wig she looks like a whole new – and flirty – person. (That guy close behind her looks like he’s pretending not to be interested in her) This could be a dry run for growing out her own hair.

That Brazilian with more money than common sense, Rodrigo “The Human Ken Doll” Alves, is in Milan shopping and hoping to squeeze into some shows during Fashion Week. Every time we see him he looks a little different and this time his nose is frighteningly small (can he breathe through those minuscule nostrils?) and his lips and chin seem altered again. As usual his clothes are too tight – and why is he sockless and unbuttoned while everyone else is bundled up on a chilly day? He IS friendly however, and chats freely to strangers about his procedures…

Hard to believe that Jordyn Woods, 21, would turn on the Kardashians and cuddle up with Khloe’s baby-daddy Tristan Thompson. Kylie Jenner made her best friend famous just by hanging with her and having her costar on her short-lived reality series Life of Kylie. Her friendship with the Kardashians opened doors for Jordyn – and she parlayed her fame into businesses of her own. And Kylie generously allowed Jordyn to live in her guest house FREE! We can’t believe Jordyn bit the hands that fed her – nothing good can come of this!

HEIDI KLUM AND HER TOP MODELS INVADE BEVERLY HILLS

Traffic was at a standstill on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills today and it had nothing to do with the upcoming Oscars. Heidi Klum was filming scenes for Germany’s Next Top Model and the girls were scantily clad in glittery colorful outfits – they danced and pranced in the crosswalks and attracted quite a crowd. Cars honked and an occasional tour bus full of excited fans slowed down to ogle. This is the first time in awhile we’ve seen Heidi hard at work with her adoring fiancé nowhere in sight…

KARL LAGERFELD: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Karl Lagerfeld, the King of Fashion, who once described himself as a “fashion nymphomaniac” (we can relate to that) has died, and we will miss him. This is a man who loved his cat Choupette SO much that he said he’d marry her, if it were legal. Years ago, when Karl was still overweight and wearing caftans and gesturing with fans, we were part of a group having dinner with him at Mr Chow in Beverly Hills. How a tabloid reporter got mixed up with that crowd we don’t recall, but we do remember being pleasantly surprised by how witty and entertaining Karl turned out to be. We always followed Karl’s advice “Don’t drink and wear stilettos” and who knows how many social disasters we avoided…

WHO BUYS RED CARPET GOWNS, ANYWAY?

Just as we predicted, haute couture is on its last legs as Street Fashion barges to the front, and it’s ABOUT TIME! London Fashion Week had the usual runway shows, but they made a big deal out of Streetstyle Fashion (logically shown on the streets.) Designers like Vivienne Westwood, Roland Mouret, and Burberry presented their casual collections along with street smart up-and-coming designers. With Prada, Gucci, etc making so much money on distressed jeans, athletic wear, and sneakers – are red carpet gowns the dinosaurs of the fashion business?

JUSTIN BIEBER WASN’T KIDDING WHEN HE SAID “MARRIAGE IS VERY HARD”

Justin Bieber, 24, and his wife Hailey Baldwin, 22, just walked out of a counseling session with his pastor, and neither looks particularly happy. When he’s not blaming the paparazzi for his depression, Justin admits his marriage is troubling him. Not only does he have trust issues with his model wife (they dated briefly 3 years ago and it ended badly) but he’s struggling to adjust to the fact that they have different ideas about what marriage is. Justin just wants to have fun and enjoy life as a couple while they’re young, but Hailey wants to settle down and think about kids. Yikes.
