Talk about celebrities with lookalike kids…Jessica Simpson’s little boy Ace is a dead ringer for his mom! The family just celebrated Ace’s seventh birthday and Jessica obviously adores him. She posted a LONG list of his assets under this photo, which included describing Ace as “a gentle force of nature, observant, hilarious, compassionate, athletic, nurturing,” and so on. Quite a list for a seven year old!
Until we were reminded by a Hollywood Reporter Flashback, we had TOTALLY forgotten that Kirstie Alley (of all people) portrayed Gloria Steinem on film LONG before Rose Byrne played Gloria in Mrs America! (This was before Cheers) It was a 1985 TV movie called A Bunny’s Tale that documented the story of Gloria as a young journalist in 1963, going undercover and working as a Playboy Bunny for 11 days. Certainly the experience inspired Gloria’s future as a vigorous feminist. Scientologist Kirstie seems to have no history of supporting women’s rights – in fact she has had Twitter clashes with women’s rights activists. But she DOES support Scientology.

After a vigorous workout at the Dogpound Gym, this masked beauty stopped at the Earth Bar for a refreshing smoothie. Now that Kaia Gerber has lightened her hair, she’s not as immediately recognizable when masked. We wonder – do men make passes at her LESS often when she’s wearing a mask? Or MORE often?

Looks like Cate Blanchett’s Amazon project about Lucille Ball is finally happening and not a minute too soon! Aaron Sorkin’s script was originally called “Lucy & Desi,” but it’s been changed to “Untitled Lucille Ball Project”– maybe Desi isn’t so important. At one time Javier Bardem was suggested to play Desi – THAT we would love to see! We can already picture him in those gabardine suits with slicked back hair. Keep in mind there will be funny “I Love Lucy” sequences in the film, but it IS a drama about the 20 -sometimes rocky- years Lucy and Desi were together!
We KNEW that Adam Sandler was a very lucky guy – he continues to find the money to make one movie after another – no matter how bad most of them are! What we didn’t realize was that he also married well. His wife Jackie is VERY attractive and looks great even when the pair go to the local supermarket – which is more than you can say for Adam…

We bet that back in the early 2000’s when Paris Hilton was the It Girl of the moment, she would have NEVER guessed that she would still be single at the age of 39! Paris, who inspired the term “famous for being famous” thanks to her sex tape and “A Simple Life,” reality series, has turned out to be quite an entrepreneur with 19 product lines and many stores making money for her. Boyfriend-wise, she’s moved on from actor boy-toys to a smart and equally successful vodka and tech entrepreneur, Carter Reum, also 39.They have a lot in common when it comes to business, but is he “hot” enough for her? We shall see…

Gigi and Bella Hadid’s notorious real estate tycoon father Mohamed Hadid has really put his foot in his mouth this time. For six years, Hadid has been battling the city of Los Angeles over his illegally constructed fifty million dollar Bel Air mansion. A few weeks ago he lost his last ditch appeal, and finally he must demolish the dangerously perched oversized hillside home. Hadid popped up with a claim that the city’s decision is the result of RACISM – based on his celebrity, race and religion. He also blames a complaining neighbor for making him look like a criminal. The neighbor’s lawyer says everyone involved- Hadid’s own contractors, his own structural experts, and city officials, have admitted that the mansion was built on lies and bribes – it has NOTHING to do with racism. Hadid should be aware that this is not a good time to throw around “racism” claims frivolously…

Shia LaBeouf was looking around suspiciously as he returned to his LA home after a walk. We were surprised to learn that Shia has been the one under suspicion for plagiarism. It started a seven years ago when Shia released a short film and someone pointed out that he had lifted the story word for word from a comic book by a writer named Dan Clowes. He DID apologize, but that apology was plagiarized also from another source! Shia later released some graphic novels that also were copied from work by Dan Clowes. Shia shrugged it off with “I was inspired – copyright laws are too restrictive!” Finally, Clowes’ attorney sent a cease and desist letter. It makes you wonder about all of Shia’s work – other than acting. He IS good at that.

We love this then-and-now combination portrait of Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon today, and as a child. He hasn’t changed all that much. Same earnest fun-loving smile. It’s easy to imagine him getting down on the floor to play with his kids. Jimmy just weathered a big storm – his blackface skit from his days on SNL surfaced. Immediately there were online demands for him to be cancelled! Jamie Foxx defended his friend with “We got bigger fish to fry.” Jimmy spent a show making heartfelt apologies and discussing his “personal evolution” since the SNL event. He did the right thing… and still has his job.

Just maybe, Hayden Panettiere is getting control of her life. She posted a sweet photo of herself and her five year old daughter who lives in Ukraine with her father, former boxer Vladimir Klitschko. Hayden claims that she has finally split with her questionable boyfriend of two years, Brian Nickerson, who was arrested for drunkenly punching her in the face in February, 2020, (and it wasn’t the first time he’s been violent.) Hayden WAS smart to have her daughter live in a safe environment with her father while her own life was unstable, but how a mother could live thousands of miles away from her only child is difficult to fathom. Hopefully Hayden will finally get a grip on her life.
